TSLA showing cracks? TSLA showing cracks?

It's amazing to watch all the twitter tesla bulls tweet every day about going all-in on TSLA. Even if I grant you that Tesla makes the best cars and is likely to grow to the largest automaker in the world, you still don't want to take on that kind of portfolio risk. Amazon the company that Tesla sometimes gets compared to had a 90% drop during the tech bust. You just don't want to take on this kind of single company risk. It's going to be disastrous for some people.

What a morning, would love to see Kathie Wood keep buying the dips as it go's lower and lower, and I have no doubt the Bitnocoiner bros will do the same since they have been conditioned to think it always go's back up.

Hey all:

What in the world is going on with TSLA?

The stock is going down 37 points in pre-market trading? I thought it was not allowed to do that? Where are all the TSLA bulls? Why are they allowing this to happen? Don't they want to make money?

Why isn't Elon Musk & TSLA buying back it's stock? Just imagine if TSLA announced a buyback program and bought back like 10% to 15% of it's stock on this dip. It would easily go to $1,000/share.

I can't tell if that's a parody or not.

Yep my friend is doubling down....has no cash so is selling his shares to buy more long dated options. Robo taxi only five years away he says and that will free cash flow over $1Trillion per year. Has three young kids, very sad really

What’s confusing is that CNBC is reporting the news correctly today. People are selling off bonds because they know the economy is about to open back up. The angle that it’s inflation risks that are causing bond yields to increase might be true but I really hate reporting that tries to feed me a conclusion.

I mean clearly there are far too many tech companies trying to create electric cars. I have no idea why anyone would try so hard to start a car company unless they were going out of their way to lose money. Elon’s tweets have been extremely erratic and irresponsible lately. The company is facing huge competitive pressure on every possible front and they are spending their cash on Bitcoins?

The guy is a hard worker but this company is a bubble that probably just popped. I have my eyes on Ford.

You want to put your money either in old industrial stocks like GE and Ford etc., or take it out of the market completely.

It’s a huge shift to value. Also now that shorts have finally gotten to taste blood they aren’t going to let this opportunity pass.

What’s confusing is crying about short-term corrections when Tesla will be selling 10M cars a year with $10k margins by 2030.

No one truly believes in that story. They have been propping this thing up as a collective action. I ****ing hate this story. It represents everything wrong with the stock market. Investing is about buying EARNINGS.

Current life thesis:

1. We live in a simulation

2. Elon Musk will be the world's first quadrillionaire

Bet accordingly

Why would anyone forecast Lucid doing 85k deliveries in 2023 when Tesla with a better brand and less expensive product with ~no competition never managed to sell that many in a year?

I don’t trust Gary black. Seems like he is passing himself off as an “American”, but I took one look at the picture and the guy is clearly British. Gary is actually a very common British name which doesn’t help his case.

I believe this is what Lucid is forecasting, not Gary Black. Obv not trusting Gary either, but surely no one is believing there will be 80k Lucids made in a couple years

biggest car company in the world won't even pay their workers for a week if they don't take vacation time, while elon and the board take home billions every year. beyond disgusting.

no wonder their build quality sucks. why put in the effort?

I'm amazed it's not illegal in Cali to force workers to use vacation time or not pay them.

Top 10 most valued company in the world with a cap higher than the next 9 largest car makers (all profitable) stops production for 2 weeks and no official reason given.
Not to mention, company famous for internal "leaks".

I have a landscaping company and have a 2 week shut down which their vacation pay covers, but they know about it all year. If we run out of work during the year I find things for them to do whether there is work or not though. Maybe Elon should have his workers doing some yard work at his homes so they can get their hours in?
