We are now at the end of the decade valuations.

Wow Good thing I dumped my Vertical Put Credit spread this morning - I had the a few 795/800 contracts for $2.75 credit - dumped it this morning for .4 debit - now it's most likely going to expire worthless.

What a sham.

No trades so far at the moment. My Strangle would be only worth $2 now

Not really any good trades that I see

I'm surprised no one here bought puts at open today. The price of the contracts are above my risk tolerance for a single position, but seemed like a great set up.

Edit: Maybe they're just too busy counting their money to post lol

puts are very expensive on a stock that's manipulated - probably better to sell credit call spreads.

That's definitely the more sensible play. Still a bit surprised no one here YOLO'd on some puts. Over the past few weeks there's been a fair amount of talk about going all in if it hits 800 again etc.

I got in short the underlying at 876 AH during the CC which is nice but have also been bleeding away on my longer term puts for the past month.

Trying to figure out when a good time to YOLO some shorter/medium term puts for the gambol. Hopefully this am wasn't the last chance.

La Capitana,

If a Model 3 achieves level 5 autonomy in the vacant parking lot at Fremont, but furloughed workers are not there to hear its silent electric money printing machine go BRRRRRR, is it really a robotaxi?

That is a question for quantum physicists.

I haven't held a position in $TSLA since selling stocks at $920 before the broader crash (shorted it once briefly intraday on the way down).

I think there are better spots at the moment though.

Despacito,

Lol at thinking a Tesla is anywhere close to achieving lvl 5 anywhere. You've spent more than a year schilling, and spewing pure pie in the sky bullshit. You literally spent months arguing with anyone and everyone that fsd was feature complete and robotaxis in 2020 was a foregone conclusion. If you can't admit when you're that far from the mark there's no reason for anyone to listen to a word you write.

When questioned you say you've moved on, but yet you continually spout pure bullshit in Tesla's defense, despite their continued failure to deliver on a single promise for years.

Do you really believe that if Musk was ANYWHERE close to achieving Self driving that he wouldn't be putting out endless videos and tweeting incessantly to drive the stock price up?

The last update we saw was like 6 mos ago when he released summon which caused a shitload of people crashing into their garages, and nearly running over their children.

Your hero doesn't believe the pandemic is a real thing, but he's happy to misrepresent bpap machines as ventilators in a self serving attempt at publicity. What a c***.

#Robotaxis2040

While we're at it, Musk said they were going to build ventilators. Have they built a single ventilator? Did they even spend 5 minutes attempting to build a ventilator? Care to wager on how many ventilators ever come out of a Tesla factory? FWIW you odds are better wagering on that than there being a fleet of Tesla robotaxis in the next decade.

There was an fsd update like a week ago that slows down for stop signs and stoplights

From what I've read it slows down at all stoplights regardless of whether it's red or green

El Chaplain, I like you but you’re an angry man.

First, had you longed TSLA when I was bullish, you’d have done well. Not sure if you’ve been trading the stock but I’d assume if you did you were short at the wrong time. Is the market too irrational to value $TSLA based on fundamentals rather than psilocybin induced tweet storms from @elonmusk? Yes. Is that my fault? No. Is failing to understand the market for this stock (including the irrational exuberance and manipulation) a leak? Yes.

Second, some Finnish PLO nit who recently made out with Ilari Sahamies on YouTube for charity (Jeans?) tried to bet me a while back that FSD2020 wouldn’t happen. As an aside, they are both very standard PLO nits, they pretend to be LAG, intimidate you with their bright blue eyes, order beers, and make out with the men next to them at the table, but it’s all a trick, when it comes to poker they nut peddle. So I rejected the disrespectfully nitty bet, and my reason was this: it’s better to bet on a company than a product. Why bet on FSD timeline when you can invest in $TSLA (and all of its products, including FSD, if it happens)?

I even said if FSD is delayed, $TSLA will still perform well. How could I possibly have been more right?

Moreover, 95% of this thread was ridiculing me at the time for taking a bullish stance and falsely accusing me of being a paid shill. I will say that I played devils advocate here to test the logic of the perma-bears and I learned a lot in the process.

As for throwing that prediction (which you misrepresented) in my face now, in case you haven’t noticed, there is a global pandemic, and Tesla’s factory in Fremont is closed and its workforce furloughed. A lot of companies are offering ZERO forward guidance. The Netflix earnings call was a discussion of what shows they like and a “we have no idea when this will end or how it will affect our financial performance”. That’s mostly a purely software business. You can’t even go outside in a lot of places and you’re here attacking me because an extremely ambitious timeline for a blue sky high technology engineering project at a factory that is closed by law is delayed? What on Earth were you expecting? “We are not allowed in our factory but here’s an FSD we prepared earlier, simply add water.” Get a ****ing grip man!

$TSLAQ are biased beyond belief and interpret any news about Musk and Tesla through a weird, negative prism. Lots of confirmation bias and conspiracy theories. But saying that doesn’t make me a perma bull on Tesla or a Musk fan boy (they are equally biased and ridiculous). As with any asset, it always depends.

If you made a bet on FSD being greater than a zero chance within two years then you're not very good at evaluating evidence. Especially with the evidence laid out for you in detail by me why it's pure bullshit.

FSD "feature complete" by the end of 2019 (promised April last year when asking for billions) was always a pure knowing fraud with an absolute zero chance of happening

Even 1 FSD robotaxi by the end 2020 (let alone a million of them) was always a pure knowing fraud with an absolute zero chance of happening.

What it was though was the greatest pump in the history of stocks. Musk finally found the perfect fraud/con that could pump his stock way higher than perpetual production ramps and other donkey-carrots could, and it was so effective it had analysts giving $15,000 price targets and even guys like Alex Wice thinking there was a "reasonable" chance Musk could pull this off.

I take my hat off to the guy, he may be an awful human being and comically unintelligent in many areas, but he's one of the greatest (if not the greatest) conman of our age and that's no mean feat.

As for despacito, he sold at $920. What more do you want? He nailed the trade. Extra bonus awesome points for working in guy-on-guy action, PLO references and a poker slight into your response. Genuinely impressed.

So we're just going to ignore that Despacito said yesterday that Musk has a $4.5B fleet of robotaxis. Cool.

The take on robotaxis was ridiculous, and continuing the line now is a bit of a joke/embarassment, but hard to hate the guy too much when even people like Alex Wice got sucked into Musk's monster fraud/con on FSD robotaxis.

He found a good con and stock pump (way better than ramping production/new models) and rode it hard with pure deliberate lies, and because the fake news media built an aura of genius about Musk, people's heuristics were completely screwed up when they evaluated the tail probabilities whether he could achieve it. If you didn't think the answer was a flat zero that he could be feature complete in 2019 or have a 1 million robotaxies in 2020 (or even 1 robotaxi), you're not very good at evaluating evidence. You might even be downright dumb. But plenty were.

Not sure if you’re serious or next level but that was an ironic comment.

that was funny, i still think the one where he says "I've already given them 3 explanations for the AR balance, how many more do they want!"

was better, both very very good though

I drive pretty slow, but anytime I speed up for the last 200 yards when I know a green is about to go red, it always turns yellow as soon as I punch it. I would buy this car.
