TSLA showing cracks? TSLA showing cracks?

The order is still being defied and the factory is working. No TRO can be filed by citizens because the courts are shut for all but criminal cases. It comes down to the will of the sheriff I guess to go in there with guns and make them shut down by force. Amazing to see total lawlessness from Musk during an attempt to stop a nasty cluster that's in the Bay Area (hundreds infected, four dead). He's straight up killing people to push out a few more cars (which he won't even sell) so his stock doesn't tank more this quarter and expose his frauds.

With 10K workers milling onto packed buses every day, no protective equipment, coming from everywhere and going home to everywhere, this sociopath is undoing much of the good work of the lockdown in controlling the infection in the bay area.

Really strange wording in his email to employees on Monday. You would think he would tell them if they are sick they should definitely NOT come to work but instead he said:

“I’d like to be super clear that if you feel the slightest bit ill or even uncomfortable, please do not feel obligated to come to work"

"“I will personally be at work, but that’s just me. Totally ok if you want to stay home for any reason"

~half the bulls seem to be saying this is terrible (it is)

the other half are cheering him on, and several have even adopted the mindset of "virus is overblown" and "panic worse than actual virus" etc. as a means of defending stock price bro.

in my view the biggest consequence is obv spreading the disease among workers and wherever they go after work, which is truly unforgivable. aside from that though, are there any consequences? is someone going to physically go into the plant and order everybody to leave?

They're just regurgitating what Elon himself has said and insinuated.

Alledged email sent this morning (after Tesla was determined to be non-essential by the county)

Bolding is my own to highlight level of pure awfulness that is Musk

Hi Team!

We still do not have a final word from the City, County, State and, Federal Government on the status of our operations. We have had conflicting guidance from different levels of government.

Until then, we are operating with Essential Employees only while all others are working from home, and working to incorporate all CDC guidelines into our operations.

There are no changes in your normal assignment and you should continue to report to work if you are in an essential function: production, service, deliveries, testing and supporting groups as discussed with your manager. If you are not assigned to support an essential function, your manager might suggest a temporary relocation to support essential functions, or you may need to be on call.

If you are not feeling well, please stay at home and use PTO. If your PTO balance is low, you can borrow up to 80 hours (2 weeks), after you exhaust your PTO balance. Please inform your manager and follow the normal procedures for sick time.

If you cannot or are reluctant to come to work, you can also use your PTO. Please inform your manager. You can also take unpaid time off, after your exhaust your PTO. You will not be penalized for your decision. There will be no disciplinary action for attendance based on health or impossibility to come to work.

We will communicate with everyone again tonight and we appreciate all you are doing to keep safe social distance.

Thank you!

Valerie

Mine are starting to creep to uncomfortability zone - I feel the same way as you, I don't feel comfortable holding that much in naked options but I think there's more room to run. Because of my discomfort, I sold a couple of my 4/17 400s a week ago and I'm regretting it.

Is it close to time to close the shorter-term ones out? YOLO?

The ultimate Musk/Trump merge

Manufacturing overpriced vanity automobiles till people literally start dropping dead sounds like peak capitalism.

Except all other automobile makers have voluntarily shut down. Don't confuse a "green" sociopath with normal people. It's socialist "green" cronyism and corrupt fake news press that created the monster Musk, not capitalism. He couldn't survive in capitalism.

BBC pushing fake news by omission. No surprise there!

Tesla's main factory in California has begun a three-week lockdown to slow the spread of coronavirus.

All the bulls have scattered like cockroaches, don't think you will find anyone here telling you to buy @200. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I think there's a decent probability it's at zero in less than 12 months.

lol. I just Googled "TSLA" looking for the latest quote. Here are the 4 things listed under "People also ask":

Is Tesla overvalued?

What is the PE ratio for Tesla?

Why is Tesla stock dropping?

Will Tesla stocks go up?

To imagine asking Google any of those questions...

Is Tesla basically going to end up like Enron? I’m sure it’s been mentioned here at least once

Enron took about 12 months to collapse, tesla is capitulating at a much more impressive velocity.

I thought buying below 200 was reasonable, but that was before the pandemic which has hurled us into a global recession. Elon's attempt to keep his factory open reeks of desperation. Companies are literally burning cash right now and TSLA is in a weaker position than most in that regard. This still has to be one of the most overvalued stocks in the stock market. Best of luck to you though.
