Two (already bear) analyst comments today, one going into how Q2 is going to be even worse than Q1 for Tesla as global demand dries up. Down over 50% from 3 weeks ago at $920.

what did kelvis do to get banned? it always saddens me when accounts that are so old get banned - going through old threads it's just banned account after banned account

I'm guessing he got butthurt about his 24 hour cold shower and raged on the mods to perma him. Or he couldn't face the thread after the devastation the stock took nullifying his one analysis of "stock price bro"

in case anyone is curious, Tesla's market cap dropped low enough today that Elon won't get his billion dollar bonus anymore, had to stay above $100b market cap over a 6 month period. Sad!

I sold everything in my portfolio a couple of weeks ago when it became clear that this virus was going to wreak havoc on the markets. The only thing I didn't sell were the TSLA puts I bought ages ago. June 2020's @145. I had written those off as being worthless when TSLA was soaring, now they're back to life. Still not worth much yet but a few more days of carnage in the market like today and I can sell them for only a modest loss instead of a total loss.

I bought other puts that did expire worthless so it would be nice to at least recoup some of that money.

Silicon Valley is now essentially in lockdown. All businesses except for essential services are to be closed.

This is incredible. How many government agencies has Musk bought off or threatened officials? He has the SEC and the NHTSA in his pocket. At this stage I have to wonder if he isn't using some kind of Epstein outfit of blackmail and coercion. He was friends with Epstein (according to Epstein) and did hire the security crew from Uber, known for these tactics.

Tesla's factory is the definition of a non-essential business. It could shut down permanently and it would affect no one except Tesla, as it justs makes cars, which no one one is even buying during shutdown.

10K people are being crowded together in a factory every day while everyone else is in house lock down and every other business forced to close. This is some incredible stuff.

All of these non essential manufacturing companies still fail to grasp the situation. They are all still forcing everyone in to work to churn out inventory that no one is buying. Honda is doing the same thing near me.

Blackmail, bribery or owning Tesla stock are the only reason officials would allow Tesla to stay open while everything else is shut down.

Don't even care about what he had to do to keep the factory open, what's 10x worse is that Elon got it done. He went out of his way to circumvent a government measure that has the goal to prevent loss of human life. So he can keep his shitty factory open. There is no bankruptcy risk for Tesla, this is actually perfect for them because it gives them an excuse to post horrible figures and raise capital if necessary, it wouldn't be an issue given this context.

If anyone is unsure whether he's more good than evil, this should be the thing that convinces you .

Allowing 10k workers to mingle in the same factory, negates the efforts of everyone else , from schools to all other businesses.

I mean is there any question at this point that Musk has the SEC head (who personally and extraordinarily intervened for him in the Tesla fraud case), the NHTSA (called out by the NTSB for shielding Tesla), and other government officials in his pocket? He also got $700 million out of New York State for a factory that was idle.

Is there any question that he's an absolute piece of crap who's seriously corrupt?
