Anyway, the news that ripped it as excited bulls piled in on a potential 600K car tax credit now seems to have a very low percentage chance of happening given that Trump has said he'll veto and is strongly against it. It's unlikely to be attached as a rider soon apparently and couldn't stand on its own as of now. So it should give back a bit more yet from here at $375
It obviously was easy money & a +ev play, we know you made a bundle (as did private chat). How could you not?

Btw lol TS basically marked the bottom in the final 45 minutes. Never change bud, ever. Enjoying your content so much.

To be fair, you called the short term top at 373, and it's up another 8$ since

Dude that was a simple jinx, calling the top joke, not an actual call on the action but good to see it went over your head.

ASAP17 has given up even trying to pretend he doesn't have a personality disorder. I wounded his pride so badly some years ago he's like a loser ex girlfriend who can't let go. Now he walks back clear top calls as "jokes".

It would be nice for everyone else's sake if he stopped shitting all over threads with his zero content insecure spew, but I don't think personality disorders are capable of stopping, once someone slights them they spend years trying to get even, it's pure dysfunction.

Today's news was huge and good for a long on bull euphoria, but all the analysis I've read this afternoon has the bill as pretty unlikely to pass (since Trump is against it and they won't get the rider it seems), which means unless there's other sugar we probably give a bit of this run back soon enough.

Simple question: At $382, is +30% ($500) more likely than -30% ($270)? It's currently worth more than other major carmarkers (who make $5 billion profit/year at a P/E under 10) while doing 1/10-1/20th of their volume at a massive loss even with unsustainable cost control and a high end niche.

My favorite part is when you came in and said the stock was going lower at $375 and it closed at $382 but maybe that was a joke like mine and you were actually in calls EOD. No call on the stock price long term, don't pretend to be an expert on the price just here to have fun and possibly learn something. You always keep it entertaining especially lately.

What kind of a leper is here to have "fun" in a stock thread on a business forum? Jesus. If you're under 70 and didn't just discover the Internet, that's ****ing weird. Meanwhile there are actual millionaires wanting to place serious bets on this discussion.

Dude this is a semi dead sub on a poker forum in 2019 lmao, I'd like to place bets on how many millionaires we have in here. Any takers? Regardless, you responded to me first and can't help yourself like always so keep that in mind.

Which of our regular posters are millionaires that use either this thread and/or the sub for serious investing ideas? Maybe I do lack the total self awareness as you'd like to say but I'm going to guess not many. Definitely not one here in both respects.

How many people with >50 million would be an interesting bet. How many millionaires in BFI is lol. I could name 10 posters off the top of my head in this thread alone, let alone BFI.

For all the BS there's definitely more than 10 who've posted in the BTC thread.

Who are they? I want names. You guys are hilarious, he's saying we have members with $50m... You both understand poker players that aren't at the top (which is 98%-99%) are mostly broke/poor right?

I get we have some cross over, as TS points out he's not even a poker player but where is the evidence?

I know a guy who posted in this thread that probably had 250-500mm at his peak. I have 0 clue where he's be now.

Definitely posted within the last year

Why on earth would I out people? Yes, I understand most poker players are busto. Do you understand that there are plenty of well known high stakes guys who are on 2+2? Not to mention plenty of, not so well known, well off businessmen and recreational players.

I'm not going to say I took you for a millionaire but I figured you had enough money to understand that people with money also use the internet. It's not just busto trolls.

Are you seriously going to say that after more than 10 yrs on 2+2 you can't pick out 10 usernames who are known millionaires?

He's an extremely private person. Part of why he was so into Bitcoin, which is why he got so rich. It's not my place to out him, especially since we are just acquaintances.

I doubt I'm the only person itt who knows who he is though

I'm not a millionaire. Maybe once my granddad's side piece and my aunt die.

I don't have a lot of money but I have enough to live and work, obviously there are some HS pros but how many of them are in here? I await some names or anyone who will come forward to answer my question about if they use this sub for serious investing ideas. Will gladly eat crow, otherwise you've done nothing to convince me.

Respect that, I'd like to leave guys who got rich from crypto out of it but I guess how you get your wealth does not matter by definition in the point I'm trying to make. Still think he's a massive outlier.

It really isn't that hard to see who's posted in what threads. I bet you could figure it out if you wanted to.

Of course people use this sub for serious investing ideas and discussions. Do you think the years that Spex has spent on his Real Estate thread, and the people who read it and ask questions don't take it seriously?

Do you think the threads that Ahnuld has started with different stock picks weren't serious?

Do you think that no one takes the btc thread seriously?

Perhaps if you spent less time chasing Tooth around and more time paying attention you could learn something. If you think there's nothing to be learned in this sub then that's your problem.

What have you learned from lately and how did you make money? Just want to flip it around since you are arguing there is a lot of value to be had.

With respect to Tooth, get over it. I'll engage with him when I want and if the mods want to tell me I can't then I will stop. I didn't follow him in here, this thread didn't have posts for a couple days and he doesn't own this sub. It isn't against the rules to not be serious about investing here, I do find a lot of the content to be more entertaining than useful.

This is going no where. If you can't find any value in reading the various topics in this forum that's your problem.

I don't understand why you need to run from thread to thread being a childish douche though. You really do ruin a lot of threads for people who participate here, and your reply is always the same "I'll run around acting like a childish douche to everyone if I want to and you can't stop me, nah, nah, nah, nah". You post like a 4 year old. It's incredibly off putting and makes the forum worse.

I mean, if you couldn't read through the spex x RE thread and identify at least three posters who almost certainly have 1m+ NW (not necessarily liquid), then I don't know what to say.

I'm a millionaire and place bets based on meaningful discussion/analysis in this thread (and have done so in a few other threads as well). Somehow lol @ thinking others don't actually bet on this.. the very fact you don't even place bets on Tesla (but post here incessantly trolling others) tells me enough that your content is all noise. What do you even stand for? You make calls yet don't have enough conviction to back them up? Honestly you need practice the art of learning to read a room

I personally know at least 3-5 other people like me who see this thread as valuable (I imagine there are many others that I don't know as well) but have zero post footprint and are not going to chime in as they prefer to only lurk/read and piggyback on others' analysis (basically they just go short/long and don't do their own research) -- but they also see a lot of value in this thread provided by select few posters. I've already posted in BFI a few times (including this thread) so whatever I'll out myself and take one for mostly team-lurk. I'd even go as far as saying I wish this thread would go behind a paywall and the posters who make it as good as it can be (and has been in the past) reap the rewards/subscriptions. I would subscribe/pay and be quite happy I'm paying cents on the dollar for good signal. There you go, now you can eat that so-called crow because apparently posters like me don't exist in your framework.
