Demand death has been confirmed (at 300 that wasn't yet the case) and there's no path to profitability in sight. Those seem like points in favor of 200 being an equal or better short than 300. At 300 you had years of chop and possible runs up to 4 or 500 on god knows what pump. At 200 here with your stated conditions the only way is down somewhat quickly. A relatively painless 200 to 50 over a year is far better than 300 to 50 (almost the same % return) that has squeezes, borrow fees, uncertainty, and ties up collateral for years.

My only positions right now are some June 2019 100 puts and Jan 2020 200 puts. You guys think just shorting it is the best way to add on at this point?

Seems the safest bet since the only thing working against you is some weird govt bailout/subsidy program. Obviously requires more capital to back it. Short shares is my biggest position.

I can’t help but to buy a few YOLO puts tho and still hold some Jan 2020 and June 2020s as well

If I thought about it rationally and professionally it seems like selling call spreads would be the easiest money since all the options are super expensive.

So basically I have no clue

I've been selling call spreads since the actual finance terms came out. I'm a poor though, and don't have the liquid to substantially short Tesla.

I have it on good authority that they'll be building a hyperloop between the China and US factories. The hyperloop will be completed by July 2020. It will only be for use by Tesla employees, Tesla manufacturing, and people who prepay in full for a Chinese Model 3.

If you pay in full now for your Chinese Model 3 it will entitle you to free use of the hyperloop between China and the US so you can cross the Pacific in 4 hours, in the comfort of your own car/robotaxi/ appreciating asset.

Available for a very limited time only obviously.
