That's why Q3 will look so good, all those sweet 60k model 3s that had demand built up for 2 years. Then what? Where are the next 50k orders for those coming from?

There are a lot of different bear theses. And getting the timing right is almost as important as getting the direction right. If Elon can pull $2B out of SpaceX to cover the convertible debt, or $10B to cover cash burn for the next 1-3 years, that makes a HUGE difference in how to play this.

From what I've read his SpaceX equity would get snapped up right away if he were to try and sell it. So yea, he does have that insurance and it may be a non-trivial reason tsla is trading where it is.
