It's a cult stock driven by the media deification of Musk over the years and popular delusion that rockets are easier to make than cars. The more ridiculous and fraudulent it gets, the more the sane holders sell and you're just left with the losers who believe insane things (like heltok did two years ago) such as that Tesla is about to make billions of dollars a year profit in "energy" or take over self driving despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
On the other side you have shorts who keep hair trigger covering, providing more capital inflows and more validation to the story side when it rips on their short squeezes.
It's a cluster**** of human psychology.
How does it get unclustered? The longer it goes on, the harder it is, but it's either impeding bankruptcy or criminal charges. The former is pretty close if they can't raise.
