I mean, i was trying to think of how this would be possible, like 5k Roadster 2 deposit and remaining payment for the founders series? Seems super unlikely, but maybe?

You'd think he'd be busy, you know, running a car company, rather than being so desperate to pump his stock that he calls in favors and responds immediately during the work day?

Despite the desperate spin, these numbers are really bad, for S & X as well.

(September had 22,250 units)

Good spot for puts at $344 here; ripping market is unfortunate.
Tooth, are you advocating long, mid, or short term puts here? Are you thinking Q4 is going to flop and picking and expiry just after Q4 reporting? Or are you expecting this is a high before the bankruptcy scenario plays out?

Deepak sold on friday under a 10b5-1 plan established 6/12/18 (?)

Board member Linda johnson rice converted 320 2024 options last week and sold them (???????) Those options would be worth a lot more than $20

dunno man, don't think that the market has priced in the fact that Tesla is simply an elaborate drug smuggling operation. The truth is out there imo

CC @optionshawk on this one but it's funny you mention that because on Friday someone purchased 1k March $420 calls between $17.05-$18.05. Chart looks pretty good honestly for those of you who follow technicals, much stronger than almost every momo stock out there. Let's joke about the stock price though...

They were weeklies, I should have specified. Lost 100%. Was small size thanks to the below, but I would have taken larger size if the market hadn't been strong

So a bit of luck there.

Musk is doing his donkey-carrot pumping again, lots of stuff like opening China "reservations" for delivery sometimes next year to hinting at a collaboration with Daimler. Hitting it hard to get it above $360. The "profitable" quarter has given him the credibility to do it. Should go down again as it becomes clear the quarter was a one-off and as news events play out.

The only thing that has me worried in the medium term is the factory work they appear to be doing at Lathrop. If they're building a second line that could be keep the stock elevated - Musk is nutty enough to do another tent line and let the customers/future massive warranty cost take the hit. Would like to get an idea about what's going on there; it's claimed to be rework but who knows. I assume the lack of a second paint facility is sufficient to keep them constrained to 4000/week for a decent amount of time yet until they build new facilities, which will take a while - way into late 2019.

So after Goldman Sachs dumped SpaceX for their loan deal, posted earlier, now this:
Quote:
Bloomberg: SpaceX is Said to Reduce Loan Deal to $250M from $750M
What on Earth is going on? SpaceX is a substantially more stable, well run, liquid, reliable revenue enterprise than Tesla, yet they can't fill a small funding round?

Meanwhile, Musk is saying right now that they're abandoning later stage Falcon rocket reuse plans and instead focusing on the "BFR" which he's very excited about (see: donkey carrot). Coincidence?

Something strange is going on when a heroic flagship company can't close a small funding round. Perhaps it's a sign of the slowdown of the wider corporate debt market, perhaps it's related to Musk and his lies/shoddy accounting/crimes.

SpaceX is probably an even more elaborate front for a drug smuggling operation!

You must be a good troller bc I'm stoned af right now and you still somehow managed to clip a cm off my high.

Also don't put something that outrageous past Elon Musk. He is capable of anything and that would fit my bizarro world thesis.

You have no f.cking clue what the current run rate is or any real insight to 11 figure global trade/production deals.

After correctly picking the runrate in Q3 (far more accurate than the Bloomberg Tracker), I have "no ****ing clue" what the runrate is?

Here's what I know: It's far below 5000/week, which Musk said he would achieve 11 months ago. It's far below 10,000/week, which your liar hero said there should be "absolutely no doubt" he would achieve in 1.2 months from now.

I **** all over Musk when it comes to production predictions, I am an order of magnitude more accurate than he is on both production and autonomous driving progress, which is pretty amazing considering he's the one working on it. Since you love Musk, I must be a pretty amazing man then. He's either a fool or a liar - which is it?

You talk a ton of **** for a guy that doesn't even trade.

This guy is such a clown. I wonder what it's like to **** all over Musk's predictions and still live in Mommy's basement?

Musk is such a classy guy, apparently the lady who blew the whistle on the questionable medical practices by Tesla for employees injured in the factory has had CPS called on her and attempts to revoke her medical license

It's standard discrediting tactics that corrupt/sociopathic corporations and cults use. Musk hired the Uber security team (hacking, intimidation, astroturfing. coverups) which says all that you need to know.

their accrued warranty is never going to be enough to cover their expenses over the next years.
just looking over tmc, reddit and twitter you find hundreds of expensive warranty cases and it's getting worse with every single tent-car they sell.

warranty expense will be an interesting thing to look at in the next 10qs.

That doesn't even make sense, dickhead. Tesla isn't going up and down in terms of manufacturing, everything they do involves extreme misses of all their production and autonomous driving projections and claims. I've had the same view on Musk's manufacturing competence and the state of autonomous driving for years...all have been correct, both are utter failures. Do you read the Tesla Motors club forum? V9 autopilot is a horribly incompetent and dangerous failure...even lots of previous fans are pleading with Tesla to fix it/roll it back.

Meanwhile, high priced Model 3 demand is dead. These emails are going out to everyone multiple times lately:

This after the liar and fraud, Musk, claimed on October 15th that that was the last day you could order and get delivery by December 31. Now the backlog is PROVABLY less than a month. I mean, how can you guarantee delivery if a backlog is greater than a month? You can't. Unless Musk is desperately lying again to get people to pay him money to stay solvent, which is possible; we know for a fact that's he a shameless liar and fraud. So take your pick: demand is dead for a >$35K or Musk is lying to get deposits.

A bit of evidence on terrible demand: Cash-strapped Tesla just absorbed $10K to $30K per car in tariffs on the S&X to keep selling in China. Remember that S&X are supply limited according to Musk.
