TSLA showing cracks? TSLA showing cracks?

The latest bull thesis that is just amazing is the market share argument where they compare sales from a 2 year backlog vs sales of ither cars single month demand.

I really am not sure if they understand why that matters or not.

A 2 year backlog alone is pretty amazing, isn't it? Do you not understand this?

Tesla crashing to $267 the last few minutes as they file an 8K that the Chief Accounting Office just resigned, effective immediately.

This is why you don't cover longer term puts. We're in the end stage now.

Dave Morton had been there for only a month, after the last CAO left. His statement:

'I want to be clear that I believe strongly in Tesla, its mission, and its future prospects, and I have no disagreements with Tesla's leadership or its financial reporting'

I mean they had to file an 8k after he accidentally admitted they couldnt hit 5k a week, and that was a 1 hour controlled EC

The bonds are spiking hard on this news from already record highs. Moodys will have to step in soon with an ass-covering downgrade to CCC. At that point no one is going to underwrite a raise and bankruptcy follows soon after.

At what point are longer term puts a cover? My plan was to wait until they were so deep in the money that even 30% share price swings wouldn't change their value much. This is to:

-Capture most all the value of the trade thesis

-Free up funds to take on more leveraged positions if good spots come up

And more news. We kind of knew this when it happened but confirmed now:

new chief accounting officer leaving after one month. nothing to see here.

if you liked it at 380 a month ago, you gotta love it at 255 now, right?

Welp, covering expiring 290s yesterday was unfortunate. At least still have Jan 19 200s and Jan 20 100s

This whole thread seems like nonsense at this point. I think everyone forgets that this company wouldn't even exist right now if the market weren't in a ten year GOAT bull run. It arguably may not have existed long before now.

Yeah no kidding. Was a good cover though. The CAO leaving so suddenly was pure luck. Time value bleed was the most likely outcome.

No reason you can't reenter today. All sane money is dumping.

Chief Accounting Officer - gone after a month
Cash - dwindling daily
CEO - manic

1. TSLA is hot garbage whose ultimate value is $0.

2. I could see it bouncing to 300 here just based on short covering and technicals. At some point, the bad news has to slow down. They're not going to lose 2 C-levels every day. Their Q3 numbers are probably going to be enough of an improvement that bulls can imagine a pathway to profitability.

3. That said, I certainly wouldn't exit longer-dated puts here. Just saying there's probably going to be a better entry. Of course, I've never seen the CEO of a major company have a psychotic breakdown, so the timeline of its collapse is hard to predict.
