Speaking as the moderator, I think you seem like you would be an interesting and worthwhile contributor. Though there are certainly posters like trolly.

Full disclosure: My views are undoubtedly closer to trolly's than yours, and TS and JV will probably have something to say about it being a hopeless left-wing echo chamber intolerant of non-PC views. While trolly and others will tell you that it's actually my Nazi playground. The existence and history of politics forums on 2+2 is rather, er, political. YMMV.
