Shorting Treasurias - Good idea?

I am thinking of shorting 30-year treasuries on leverage.
How +EV is this? If this is good, What ammount of leverage should I use?

Inflation is surely gonna be larger than what treasuries are paying over 30 YEARS. The dollar is going down imo...

For the long-run yes, for 2009, not so much

you missed a TON on this. we just closed our short 30yr futures (16yr bond cheapest to deliver) short w/ 40:1 leverage for the time being.
