watched last night. no idea if repeat although date suggests it was

1) turn anything into speaker guys. liked it. obviously huge worry on the chinese agreement

2) specialized candles, including farrrt candle. no chance. liked the guy tho

3) wedding aisle planner. didn't watch whole segment. oleary looks like complete DB as usual

4) fire hose attachment guy - kinda strange. got amazing offers. sharks must get a heck of alot more info than they let on (like the retail product wasn't just introduced "spur of the moment".... and must be closer to a bunch of fire dept sales than i would have thought. i realize guy said they were but i wasn't convinced). have to agree with corcoran on 8 seconds not being a huge deal (i realize it is if you're burning to death), and is the product highly reliable?

one thing i found out reading about canadian show is that tons of these deals die in due diligence

It was a repeat. The fart candle guy came back and business was booming.

LOL, thanks for "spoiling" it for me ... quite surprised and happy for the guy. wonder if he benefitted from first appearance

afaik he "came back" in an update where he talked about booming sales due to shark tank exposure. I don't think he came back for more money.

This. Copa Di Vino is the only guy to come in looking for money twice.

I think he meant that he came back in an update segment, not looking for more money.

A good update is that Cuban changed the firehose deal immediately after the cameras are off and the deal is now dropped.

Where'd you get this update? Any more details on how/why the deal was cancelled?

It's be incredibly valuable for prospective participants to know what % of their deals each shark ends up actually closing.

i read that bret wilson, formerly of the canadian show, closed a whole bunch of these shark deals. i think he left the show because he thought the panel, and o'leary in particular, was too obnoxious while not doing enough deals. someone can correct me if i'm wrong (and i may be)

disappointed that fire deal fell apart but as i said i didn't see a strong appeal.

if the winedouche had such a great business opportunity why didn't his bff Sam Adams guy tackle him before he went on the show and shove a check down his throat? It is an important question and probably means the winedouche wanted way too much money or the business he was pitching had serious flaws.

Not really. All kinds of reasons to not invest that don't exclude the opportunity from being a good one.

I'm pretty sure he said it wouldn't be a good idea for an advisor to also be an investor. That's why Sam Adams isn't an investor.

not to mention he's dealing with his own company...there's a reason why you go to the Sharks and not other people

shark tank is really really cheap advertising. and him coming on show in no way precludes someone else from investing i.e. he may have had something lined up already..... i don't understand the dislike for the guy. i like him alot better than KOL and Robert V

I've seen winedouche's product in lots of stores recently. This guy turned his winery from nothing into a legit nationwide business. There are obviously no serious flaws in his business and his offer wasn't unreasonable at all.

I heard he left because he thought he deserved more money (my guess that meant as least as much as Kevin) for being on the show because he was the only one making deals (well and Jim Tree-living).

I'd rather have Brett on instead of Robert or Kevin in a heartbeat.

The guy had 5M in sales and they were offering crap for 30% equity. There was no reason for that guy to do the deal.

Did Billy Blanks Jr. take a tae-bo kick to the head as a kid? How did he not understand what was being offered? He's lucky as hell that Damon went out to explain it to him like he was a 4 year old.
