I'm not clear what you're doing at this point. No restaurant now, just a bar with finger food and remote work facilities?

The accommodation is key for digital nomads, just a space won't be enough to get enough traffic. So if no accommodation then the restaurant is a better play.

I can understand if there is some confusion since my plans changed. Originally, I wanted to do a Restaurant. But due to the fact that the Government signed a law to promote Digital Nomads by giving them free visas and other perks, it dawned on me that focusing a Coworking space would be the better idea. It will make it much easier for me to get things running as well, having worked myself in several WeWorks before and knowing what people would like to have. I will have all of that and so many extras on top. The Restaurant will hopefully come a few years later when I expand my footprint by buying more land as soon as I make profit from the Coworking and Bar.

You can have a closer look at the space now after clearing up the property from all the bush and vegetation. Cant wait to get this started and welcome the first guests, fingers crossed no major issues will come up during the renovation/construction process.

Hey guys. I will start my crowdfunding campaign for the project on Tuesday. You can plant a tree or get a bench with your name on it and leave a lasting impact on the site. You have more responses on this thread in a dead sub forum on a poker strategy site than your thread on tripadvisor in the Montenegro sub forum, so i don't know if your analysis is correct that it's not the right target group or not many people interested in going to Montenegro.

But you didn't provide us with any unique information from a "Business/Finance/Investing" standpoint, reposted the same videos here that you made for all platforms, then solicited us for donations despite the fact that you've traveled to 107 countries and have bought land in a foreign country. Such a disappointing thread.

This whole project seems like a mess now to be frank. A coworking space + bar in the middle of nowhere doesn't make sense. Especially since you don't even have a real building. Coworking space makes sense:

1. In the very center of a city
2. Where there's coworking accommodation (so they use a coworking space - you make money off the accommodation)
3. Where there's a restaurant you can make money off the food.

Coworking space + bar seems like a failure. A coworking space is not a viable business. There's nothing there and no reason for anyone to come out.

As for a bar, you're way out of town and I can't even see parking on your flyover. How are people going to fill this up enough to make it work? How are you going to make money off it?

You have a lot of good energy so it's a shame to see it get wasted on something that's going to be another half finished project that goes down the toilet.

This is at the "abort, abort, abort!!!!" level of business plan imo

Yes there is a pretty big demand here already and I get weekly messages from people that want to come work here. The tower will be for people NOT wanting to be in the city (like myself) and rather be in the nature with a quiet environment. The city is only 2 km away though so its not really remote, just svery quiet since I only have trees and some empty houses around me and its the end of the road.

Accommodation and a kitchen will be offered at the Tower as well, just like a small supermarket and gym so the people working there don't really have a reason to leave unless they want to go for a swim.

I like the concept especially because it is something that has not been used many times all over the world as well, if its not a good idea business wise then I don't really mind either since I don't do it for the money.

I guess everyone else on other platforms like reddit, tripadvisor, youtube, facebook, etc that was solicited for a crowdfunding campaign felt similarly as me...it just felt so, so pathetic. 2 backers.

Such a shame because he seems like a really good guy. I hope he proves me wrong and makes a viable business out of this. Just doesn't seem like it's a possibility. He'll probably end up selling the land and take a small hit on the construction costs that he anticipated covering using crowdfunding, then discover that the people messaging for a job or commenting on posts weren't really quite interested in becoming a paying customer.

Olaf, the Crowdfunding was for one person who wanted to have a tree, I thought the idea would be cool and wanted to see if you get any extra reach from these websites.

I have the money i need set up already to cover required phases in order to open the business, then once I make money with it I will do extras like the pool etc. I dont want to spend all my private money on it, thats why I either wait until the revenue comes in or if someone wants to help with the project i can get a few things done earlier.

Lets talk in a year from now and then we will see if you are right in your judgement that I will lose all my money and sell my land. I highly highly doubt it.

Have you done any market research at all? I'm always amazed when people are willing to drop large sums on a wing and a prayer without finding out the relevant metrics first. I would seriously consider reaching out to your alleged target market and finding out if they want this, would spend money on it, would be return customers, etc. If those results scare the shitout of you then you know you need to change it up. In which case more research should be done before plowing mass amounts of cash.

You might find some answers that would allow you to avert disaster, and you could easily find out something that you need to add or take away. And you might even find out you're targeting the wrong people-which you might want to know before starting construction!

Ive done some basic research, not in detail since the business itself is nothing that worries me to much. Even if I have 0 customer, I can just enjoy the place on my own and do my "normal" job from there. I do not have this project in order to make money, I do it in order to feel good and have an amazing place to enjoy. Again, NOT a business man here. Just a guy who traveled a lot, found an amazing stone ruin and decided to turn it into a place that everyone can enjoy. All the money I invest in here is also an investment and increases the value of the property. That will stay, even if I end up having 0 customers.
