Personally I have had a very scary experience this week where my ~100k account was suddenly locked by their security team for buying moments too quickly by using multiple tabs in my browser (which is not against ToS, does not give me an advantage except for saving me some time and is a common practice). I was pretty much saved by being a VIP and being very aggressive in my communications with them. I was told on the phone (which I have a recording of): "If you weren't a VIP, security would just close your account without you being able to explain what was going on." Gives me very little confidence in having a lot of money on the site and is a good example of "not your keys, not your NFTs".

Will be working on selling most of my Top shot collection and probably just keep some moments to be able to qualify for pack drops and take part in that rent-seeking activity.

I did try to tell you but they really do ruin their own projects with money grabs. NFT market has dipped quite a bit overall but some projects have held up very well and some have done a terrible job. Doge pound has held up very good and has rarity chrome extention tool out. BAYC obviously has held up well.

You have your hyped drops like Angry Apes United which came out today and is worth a look.

You also have projects which cant get out of their own way like Hor1zon Troopers which was very hyped but suddenly decided their reveal was taking too long so mid day just decided to reveal everything 3 days early and tanked their project and lost the confidence of their community. You also have a very big community which was quite popular (Mutant Cats) that has all but destroyed their own project with shady dealings in the DAO and random community members being paid quite a lot of ETH out of the DAO to give ideas, there is a lot worse going on there imo which is a shame.

You really need a good community with leadership that can execute and there are so many projects coming out every week you have to be careful because most wont be here in 6 months in my opinion but money will rotate back in and some of these projects will take off.

There has been a bit of life in NFTs again the past week or two. BAYC and MAYC had epic runs and some others ran with, like cool cats, doodles, kongz / vx, and sandbox.

Whats popping off right now is the most degen ponzirelli project ever concocted in Wolf Game. https://wolf.game/. Devs had to shut down the token mint because of an exploit and the supply got squeezed to hell because of the lockup requirements.

Currently sliding off .5 or so every 2-3 hours just collecting wool.

I woke up, saw wolf, bought it after 5 minutes of FOMO. I then read the whitepaper and realized it was a big ponzi/degen game. But too late, I had it staked and you can't unstake for 2 days. I counted that money gone. Now the floor has 6x'd from where I bought in and I have already sold enough $WOOL to cover my investment and more. Better lucky than good!

Minting is now paused due to an exploit and there is no new supply and the floor is going exponential. Everyone has theirs locked up!

This thing has some legs to it. Hopefully the price holds another 24 hours when some of my sheep unstake

There's no way the price of sheep holds. There are only 40 for sale now and there is going to be an instant flooding of the market once minting opens. So price of sheep goes down to match the price of $wool. And then the price of $wool drifts down. I still love it though, it's all about extracting maximum value.

excuse me, if virtually farming virtual wool to sell to people you dont know so they can virtually breed virtual sheep doesnt make sense to you, i dont know what to tell you

If any of you like Football (Soccer) these 2 projects are great.

sorare is global fantasy football where all the players in your team are NFT's, it's signed deals with the entire of Spains La Liga and Germanys Bundesliga along with full coverage of the MLS and also has a bunch of massive clubs signed up like Liverpool / Real Madrid / PSG

Raised $680m a couple of months ago if you like football or fantast sports check it out

https://www.reuters.com/technology/s...re-2021-09-21/

The other project I'm really liking the concept of has only just had the club mint last week called footium, think Football Manager but on the blockchain where your football club is an NFT.

Game itself isnt due to launch until early 2022 so it's very early days and much more of a gamble this but game has been in development for a couple of years if they can nail the concept this could be huge https://footium.club/

The floor price on opensea hasn't really moved since launch next week so can still get in cheaply, clubs badges are revealed on wednesday hence why there is nothing showing on the icons on opensea

Hi all,

I am going to read through this thread and probably should have first, but what is the general consensus now here among many re NFTs? My friend who is a savvy man really thinks it is the future. He mentions ones to me that he thinks will do very well.

Hasn't Facebook been renamed to Meta? Zuckerberg is probably a very smart man, maybe he believes this is the future and wants to be strongly associated with it? FB will probably change their logo soon.

My friend thinks we will eventually get driverless cars and maybe there will be gaming on there. What is happening about these gaming coins in Metaverse? He is also looking at purchasing property in the Metaverse where you can advertise things. Admittedly, I am completely new to this. I am tempted to try and understand this though since I ignored crypto and missed the crazy gains.

It seems some are giving good perks now too, like free meals at top places, attending the NBA finals....You got to try and get in before the big corporations do imo.

Episode 542 of the Tim Ferriss show is the best overview of nfts that I've heard. Highly recommend it.

I think there is a big long term future in NFT's with utility and specifically blockchain gaming as play to earn models like Axie Infinity have really shown.

Some of the established art projects will likely stand the test of time but there are hundreds of Bored Ape clones you see all over the place I don't see any long future for the vast majority but there is money to be made on these with quick flips.

I stay away from them myself and just focus on gaming projects which I think have a really bright future can make amazing returns if you get in early enough on the right project. Picking the right project is the hard part tho as most ones in early stages will end up failing.

Looks like it migrated and is still holding up. Might have a good community behind it.

Also, I’m looking at Stoned Ape Crew. Is this just another Ape clone, or does it have a decent team behind it?

What are some good blue chip SOL NFT’s?

.6 isn't holding up compared to 20k a day in wool and 3.5 eth floors

Wizards n Dragons is the new wolf game, at least for now. $GP over .10 is godly. Minting is progressing along smoothly and they have future plans in the works for GP in phase 2 and 3. This could have some sustained lasting power.

Such a degen game. I’m in, but **** these gas fees for collecting GP!

Punk floor is dropping like a rock down to 72 ETH presently. Anyone have any guesses as to what the bottom will be? As a no-punker punk-curious kinda guy, been tracking the market off and on.

No clue tbh. Larva is killing punks. Bayc out building and experimenting while larva files strikes. Punks were supposed to represent the alt world vibes of the cryptosphere and they are the most boring and corporate pfp on the market

I don't think the true floor of any of these projects will present themselves until the peak of the bear market. My guess is the floor for everything is a whole lot lower than where they are presently.

Anyone dabbled in polker. pkr ? Just curious if worth messing around with or not.

footium had its club launch the other day, plenty of division 8 clubs on the market at close to original minting price of .05

if you fancy running a virtual soccer club give it a look, the beta of the game starts later this month and full game is scheduled to launch later next year

even if you dont think a football manager game is up your street with only 3k supply of the clubs there is a very good chance floor will be higher when the game launches

sounds good I'll check it out.. my professional football career died before it started due to championship manager and sensible soccer.. so sounds fun.

Reminds me of illiquid assets during the Great Financial Crisis. A floor is a floor until liquidity dries up and assets are marked to market at the clearing price.
