Most of the big banks have a separate asset management business, examples being Goldman Sachs Asset Mgmt and JPM AM. Theyre basically the same as blackrock except blackrock has more assets under management and more etfs and other funds to choose from because the big banks' main business is their activities arranging deals/issuing securities for corps.
