Its hard not to think that ICOs are vastly overfunded relative to the traction that they have shown, the quality of the team, what is being given (tokens instead of shares), etc, etc. Its also very hard to tell how someone is without meeting them in person
Throwing money at them (at this current point in time) is likely to be on average a very poor decision even if some ocassional ones do pretty well
