Does Trump stand to gain more from a war, or no war? We know he wants to distract from the Russia probe. Bad enough to go to war?
There isn't 4th level thinking going on. TRUMP is putting NK to a hard call on the flop with the threat of future action in having to call big bets on the turn and river. TRUMP is using his big stack to bully his villain into submission. Out bullying a bully ftw.

Since this is the official low content thread:

This has to be the funniest thing in a while. Someone noticed in a picture that Kim Jong Un had apparently trade windows open on his screens, and it's sparked a bunch of conspiracy theories. Now we have a claimed hydrogen bomb test.

What would you do if you had a few billion dollars, a nuclear arsenal, a trading addiction, and your long volatility trades were in the red?

If this is indeed the case (5% chance?), we should all be short for a 10 sigma.

I honestly do think they Kim sells futures before performing his tests. He obviously wasn't happy last Monday (Tuesday?) with the dip buyers haha, so he had to fire another one.

But he's risking a lot more if he let's another missile lose anytime soon.

It's only day 3 in 2018 but so far this is well in the lead for the BFI Unsolicited PM of The Year Award:

Kim thinks along same guidelines as OP. He's on at least level 3. Trump is on Level 1.

Kim actually likes Trump according to Dennis Rodman. He's leveling trump, probably into threatening him and manipulating the markets. It's well known that when trump tweets people short stocks.

Since Trump tweets everyday, how's that working out?

Time to bump with the low content thread with a topical and surprisingly insightful video on its CEO. You will come away a better Facebook investor after watching this. Zuckerberg just said Facebook should perhaps be regulated, and it's tanking premarket. So I bring you:

You can't call yourself an informed Facebook investor and understand the mind of its CEO without watching this video.
