Good example of how you are intellectually dishonest to cover up your extreme views, have gullible sheep follow your arguments and have no one put in any effort to counter them because the premise is just so dumb. I like you as a BFI poster but my god do you go crazy on certain subjects.
Read my follow up post and tell me if you still disagree. It's the one axis labels that are dumb. If I were to write it out as axes of belief, 70+% would have the left and Nazis matching up, and on the things that matter (like the state as the solution to problems, hatred and shunning and even violence toward those with different philosophies, the silencing of competing ideas, the need for revolution rather than conservatism). Only racism is substantially different. But that's more a product of the age - all of the world was racist/antisemitic in the 30s. It was the ideology above that made the difference and created the vehicle for nasty people to gain power. You do realize this, right? Hard left thinking was the reason the Nazis got in. It would have been impossible for them to grasp power without the set of hard left ideologies they championed. Just like in Russia and China. How is this not obvious to you?
I don't think this is even controversial. It's sad that people don't see it. Views of history have diverged totally from what history actually was. That runs the risk of repeating it.
What are my exteme views? I'm libertarian, like most smart people. A basic set of laws to protect people and property, and provide for basic needs and education, then leave people the **** alone as much as is practical. If that's extreme, what on Earth do you believe?

Just quoting this again. This thread was fine when it was BFI regulars. Lots of viewpoints, no conclusions but a broad range of enlightening ideas (traders
hate conclusions; you get raped quickly in the market if you're sure of something, it's like the exact opposite of politics)
