Fitbit Facing Litigation Fitbit Facing Litigation

I received something in the mail in regards to Fitbit facing litigation. It has something to do with their heart rate monitor and since I was once a stock holder I'm entitled to financial compensation. I've never had something like this happen to me before so I'm not entirely sure what to do.

Inside the packet thing are a bunch of papers. It told me I can go to this website:

http://www.fitbitsecuritieslitigation.com

I checked it on scamadvisor.com and it doesn't appear to be a scam so I'm pretty sure this is for real.

Is there a way to send this through email or does it have to be through mail? I'd rather send a claim electronically than through the mail.

Good god. The very first paragraph -
To submit a claim via email, click here to download a claim form and click here to email your claim.

Yeah, I see that, but the first link brings up the PDF without any option to download. The second link opens up a blank page in Google Chrome. The links were not very helpful at all.

I have since got it sorted out.

I had a fitbit for a while and thought my heart rate was reading pretty low after an intense run, showing only 144bpm. My first thought was to go harder next time. I did a manual check and was shocked to find I was actually near my maximum heart rate. I took that piece of junk back the next day. I hope the company goes under as a result of this lawsuit. Maybe if enough corporations get held liable for their blatant disregard of ethics they will change their behavior as a whole.

Your age is showing :P

Right click the 1st link, then click "Save link as". Or change your browser settings to download pdf's instead of view them. Or view the pdf and then do "Save page as" (if there really wasn't a download symbol to click).
