I hear you on the P&D feeling, but I think the recent run-up is because it looks like there is light at the other end of the tunnel. The expectations were so low for this company to actually put out a product that the execution risk surrounding RO2 exceeded the probability that the market would pay par on GRVY's cash and middling, but profitable RO revenue stream.
There haven't been any PR news releases or hired stock promoters like with most P&D. In fact, I think GRVY's IR has been pretty bad with transparency.
I don't expect the stock to go much higher before the commercial release of RO2. If your catalyst is the RO2 release, then I would close the position either shortly before or immediately after the release. There's no way to assess how well RO2 has been marketed and whether the game is any good.
