Will be fantastic when this blows up in their face.

-Simulations didn't forecast a fall from $1400, that was too hard to see

-Now they know they can pick up 20% on a scalp short at one of the most dangerous shorting times since the original fall below $400

Bounce of 100%, (just less than April when it was under 400) has materialized. All clear to short this flaming trash pile again. Lots of people jumpy to get in the 'bottom' at the exact right day/week when they should be at most casually thinking about which year.

ETH pumped to $40 once, this represented all of it's future potential several times over, it simply needs to go back.

Perfect rally to pull the losers back in, who else gets pumped over a return to what was a total catastrophe meltdown price a few months ago?

2014 ETH Vs 2018 ETH graph, not an exact match overall, up to 5-10% deviation at several points over the year.

Fascinating graph considering ETH was launched in 2015.

Dominant 2nd largest crypto that experienced a much larger % rise during each bubble... I even labeled the graph to help slow people. The most bizarre thing about the ETH crowd in here has always been a baseless yet absolute sense of confidence.

I don't even like or own (much) ETH, but who cares what LTC did 5 years ago

Can one of the bulls explain why they were not aware of this past pattern, or saw it and did not think it would apply again?

Novogratz claimed to be buying ETH at 400 'because it had fallen so far'

Likely 0% chance that Kazuya spent the 5 minutes needed on this to 5x his coins on a very conservative trade

Busto gallery I'm assuming don't have a need for this since their only hope is another gain of .50 > 500 they missed out on the first time, shoving aside reality with a smiley face is really their only play

it would be difficult to be aware of ethereum's price patterns in 2014 considering ethereum was not created until July of 2015.

^ Backs up the idea that ETH people in this thread simply refuse to think, ultimately that is probably the only real source of support ETH as a concept has.

You made a dumb typo that you have yet to acknowledge.

You claim everyone who didn't sell ETH at the top is an idiot.

Your reason is because Litecoin, which was also the second biggest coin at one stage, fell similarly in 2014.

I hope you're rich from all these obvious patterns you're able to figure out in advance.

If this does turn into a mild BTC supercycle pump top, alts are likely to be in for a sustained bleedout. Last BTC peak alts ran ahead to lolz while BTC was already showing somewhat strong signs of collapse, just don't see the optimism to repeat the pattern this time. In addition, the huge volume done in alts around ATH levels created an army of bagholders that are going to hardcap any gains on most coins. Finally, all coins are generally surpassed on technicals and hype with each new offering, siphoning off the bid. ETH doesn't escape any of these issues, a return to 3k BTC would have ETH at $40 or so

Those are my estimations. If you want to do your own estimations, go read this and quit asking to be spoon-fed, all the research is right here for *anyone* to go read: https://ethresear.ch/.

Omisego: Vitalik has helped them w/ brainstorming plasma. He was given OMG tokens for being an advisor, which he promptly donated to remove a financial conflict of interest. He's never told anyone to ever buy or hold the token. How is this an ethical problem? How does this compare to other people in this space?

RChain: A project independent of ethereum which is implementing an iteration of CBC Casper, which Vlad, a researcher is doing R&D for. How is this collaboration an ethical problem? How is a researcher who's looking to build a consensus algorithm accountable for the treasury or business management of a project who's looking to use an iteration of it? Do you understand how open-source software works?

My turn. The question to ask yourself is: Why are you such an angry troll? Why would me pointing someone in the direction of someone doing their own research on XYZ with what I genuinely think are helpful frameworks to think about (in this case lightning) trigger you?
Bump. Still optimistic about these predictions?

ETH/BTC hasn't been this low since early 2017.

ICO treasuries still own millions of ETH they need to dump to continue operating (or just exit all together).

There are zero dAPP users in the world.

ICOs are dead. IEOs have replaced them and even they are quickly dying.

What possible reason is there to own ETH ever again?

DeFi.

Ethereum wasn’t invented to facilitate ICO’s. That just so happened to be it’s first use case.

It’s going fine. The fact you think investment timeframes are measured in weeks tells me plenty about your ignorance.
