You're woefully out of touch with where most young right wingers, and increasingly the right wing in general, are. Libertarians are referred to as lolberts. Economic liberalism is shunned in the name of social and cultural conservatism. Individual liberty is anathema--community and duty come first.

I regularly keep tabs on this transition. One pundit put it in a way that I believe sums up the worldview: They said they aren't anti-mandate at all--they're just against this one. They have every desire to use state mandates to achieve their ends and rightly identify free-market capitalism as a powerful socially liberal force.

And you are exactly describing Tooth himself.

He wrongly labels corporations and citizens having the freedom to set their terms of service and decide whom they want to transact with fascism while at the same time advocating for the gov't to get the power to force these interactions and socializing, which is fascism.

It is all a Trump like game to them of saying 'no you're the liar', when they want to label others with that they are trying to do.

Tooth and most on this subforum are far more fascist than libertarian and far more so then those typically on the left.

Gov't control in this area ...yes please, give the gov't more power here.

Gov't control of the TOS of Social Media to force them to allow lying and deceit ...yes please, give the gov't more power here.

Gon't control of women's bodies... yes please, give the gov't more power here.

Oh and if anyone asks tell them we are libertarian and they are the fascists.

Pretty wow. Apparently one of the few sites on earth getting some antivax to switch sides.
There are some other sites around possibly having the opposite effect too fwiw. I mentioned one earlier itt which has video clips of people who have apparently suffered bad reactions from the vaccine. Unverified of course, but some of them look quite genuine.

One interesting clip I saw was of people waiting outside a vaccination site when paramedics suddenly appear carrying a guy having convulsions out on a gurney. The look on the faces of the people waiting for their jabs is something else.

Don't be frustrated if the other side posts 100+ equivalent stories for each vaccine potential reaction news item you find. Just stay on message, even as it constantly changes as past messaging fails. Be sure to purchase any books of some of the people you follow publish to show your support. Know your role and do your part for your fight. Remember to remind yourself that you are not a sheeple like the people on the other side.

Nah, you're just a fool taking your tiny internet experience and extrapolating to the entire Republican base. Attitudes have barely changed if you look at surveys, and the surveys are of the entire Republican base.

I might be woefully out of touch with the right wing internet (lol that you read it and double lol you extrapolate it) but you're woefully out of touch with reality, math, reasoning and the real world.

Didn’t they get rid of of the daughter of dick Cheney .
I guess Cheney family were a know leftish side of republicans…

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liz_Cheney

“ Regarded as a leading ideological conservative[4] in the Bush–Cheney-era tradition and a representative of the Republican establishment,[5] Cheney is a neoconservative, known for her focus on national security, her support for the U.S. military, a pro-business stance,[6] foreign policy views, and for being fiscally and socially conservative”

“ After her battles with Republican leadership, Cheney received death threats, leading her to spend $58,000 on a private security detail.[16] ”

Maybe she realized the republicans as only the name left in the party …..
Tea party ftw .

Seem a lot of old associates (Mike pence ?) to the Republican Party gets death threat all over the place .
And you call Democrats fascist…lol .

Well, what I meant is it would be really hard to fake some of the injuries people were displaying in the clips. Unless they are deep fakes or something.

Some of the injuries are quite horrendous.

Booster shots are coming, I kinda expect to get my third shot still in 2021 (and I'm not even 35).

How can you force people to take a drug that the manufacturer accepts no liability for? You must take this drug but if something goes wrong, tough. You are on your own.

Which also raises another question. If the vaccine is safe why won't they accept liability for any injuries caused by the shots?

This is such a bad take. Have you ever read the documents included in any pharmaceutical, whatever form? It is filled with those types of clauses & risks, yet most of the world (and most of the anti vax crowd) takes them upon prescription from the doctor without reading a single word from it.

True, but you are not forced to take them. That is the difference.

Being forced to take a drug against your will with no comeback if it injures you or w/e is so evil it actually blows my mind. I mean the ****ing Nazis were prosecuted for doing that in WW2. Yet here we are in 2021 and the US government is doing the exact same thing.

Of Horse, Cow, or Sheep?

The application of Ivermectin is for ridding of parasites in humans occasionally (dependent on Doctor's consideration) and for removal of Lice (maybe).

Where did I learn this? From the WA Post, NY Times (Note about special breed, I promise I am not a Cow, horse, nor sheep). Oh, and skip goat as well.

The republican base has never been on board with the economic agenda. Surveys show that. Surveys have shown that.

The most likely people to hold the WH from that party in the future are Trump, DeSantis, Hawley, and Cotton. All authoritarians.

The most obvious reason this is happening is that education has long been correlated with libertarianism. Educated voters are less and less republican every year. This leaves behind the less educated base, who have always preferred authoritarianism.

Used to be that GOP leadership picked an R candidate and they ran and that was that. Not anymore. State parties are headed by absolute morons. The people in power are conspiratorial. People like Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney are all but purged. Justin Amash left. Trump said to throw Massie out of the party. Reason magazine said libertarians have no home in either party. But I guess those last two don’t count since they happened on the internet.

Look, yeah, rn it’s still mostly hunky-dory Mitchism and WSJ GOPing. But if you can’t see the writing on the wall with libertarians leaving the party, political violence, and constant talk of “woke capital”, well, okay. I guess we’ll see what happens this decade.

Pfizer cannot force anyone to take anything so why should the gov't of Brazil (the only one who can force citizens to take it) want Pfizer to take that responsibility? It should be Brazilian President Bolsonaro who says 'my government will take that responsibility on if you take it and have any side effects that require treatment'.

Any gov't that believes it is in the public interest to require vaccinations of any kind should have that position.

Whoops. Be careful what you ask for.

Quote:
An ABC news fishing expedition on Facebook took a startling turn over the weekend, after a reporter asked readers to share stories of loved ones who died of Covid after refusing or delaying to get the vaccine.

Instead, thousands of readers reported of loved ones who died after vaccination and, even worse, dying from adverse reactions to the vaccine.

By noon on Monday, the post had received over 39,000 angry and often heartbreaking responses. Virtually every string contains a firsthand report by people whose family members are grieving the loss of loved ones of all ages.

Re: Coronavirus

And so it begins, lol.

And this played out just as it should, Derp tears notwithstanding.

Vancouver Police called after customers refuse to show vaccine cards

It’s only been a few days since BC’s new Vaccine Card came into effect and already the Vancouver Police Department has been called to businesses after customers refused to show proof of vaccination.

...

He says there was no public safety risk and that “no enforcement was taken because the people eventually left without incident.”

Addison adds, “We trust that business owners and staff will do their best to resolve conflicts that arise over vaccine passports; however, we will attend if there is a public safety issue or a criminal act.”

makes no sense to me at all...

Or you kneel before trump (as if only he knows what being a true republicans is without any nuances) or your out and even risk dying....
and they cheers for it ?
