Citations would help ease the perception that you just randomly make stuff up.

No

No

It's an absolute mess. And the health system is bad too - it's an aging deep state bureaucracy with antiquated hardware and procedure that would take years to fix. The CDC screwing up the tests and rules and data reporting so badly is both a symbol of their incompetence and an outcome of how bad/antiquated/bureaucratically rule following the system is. Articles on the virus weakening, articles on it becoming far more infectious. I think I give up even trying to follow along at this point.

This virus is very unlikely to evolve that quickly

For research, I am curious about this too.

Muslim-majority countries with few exceptions (e.g. Turkey)

Based on anecdotal evidence and other inferences, I would bet a lot that the US is more promiscuous than Italy and Spain. France is close but I would probably still take the US.

This may be one of those instances where it makes a big difference whether you are using median or mean. It seems there may be a small population of "super spreaders" and a large population of incels. So basically late stage capitalism of the sexual marketplace.

At this point for my age (30+) I could care less about IFR/CFR. I would like to get more statistics about % of cases which end up with some sort of longterm damage. In The Netherlands there are 1000's of cases (in FB groups and online fora) which months after they've had covid still struggle with the most basic things like walking. It seems their lungs (but also other organs) have been severely impacted by this. There haven't been that many cases here so it's a meaningful percentage with these issues, but it's not really well documented.

How do I get on the super spreader list?

According to recent Cambridge/Grenwich Universities studies, looks like if we basically did the exact opposite of what WHO and Fauci advised us early on regarding masks, there would likely have been no crisis at all.

https://www.foxnews.com/science/rese...virus-pandemic

Quote:
The research, conducted by the U.K.'s University of Cambridge and University of Greenwich, notes that lockdowns, while important to slowing the spread of COVID-19, are not enough to slow the transmission rate of SARS-CoV-2. Wearing face masks, even homemade ones, is paramount to stopping the spread.

“Our analyses support the immediate and universal adoption of face masks by the public,” said the study's lead author Dr. Richard Stutt, in a statement.
Quote:
In the study, the researchers found that the reproduction rate (R-value) fell in all modeling scenarios where routine face mask wearing was adhered to by 50 percent or more of the population, lowering the R-value to less than 1.
Actually, this should not be breaking news. A study 1 month ago had similar results: https://www.foxnews.com/science/coro...ent-wore-masks

Science to the rescue when a 12 year old kid with a sewing machine and cotton cloth had the answer all along.

The “debate” about masks for a very contagious deadly illness passed through respiratory droplets is right at the top of the list of ridiculous things that have happened in 2020.

They will try to reimpose lockdowns and then have no one follow them because it's Florida.

yeah I can't see any of those south/southwest states shutting down again unless it is NYC level bad

maybe what they will do is try to shutdown the main cities first and let everyone else go about their business rather than whole states

Ok but I'm not sure it's as black and white as I once thought it was. Constantly wearing a mask is not good for your immune system, we're supposed to be inhaling bacteria and other stuff when we're outside. Just seems dumb to be wearing it on the sidewalk or at the park. Limiting your oxygen supply on a regular basis also seems pretty dumb and not healthy.

no one is saying to constantly wear a mask, just when you do things like go to a grocery store.

you don't limit your oxygen supply when wearing a cloth/surgical mask.

Yup, I remember clearly the Great American Doctor Strike of 2012 when no one showed up to work to highlight the dangers of wearing PPE, which they were forced to wear in order to “protect themselves.” Oxygen supply ftw. Bacteria ftw. Doctor lives matter.

If someone exposed to this massive thread still is iffy about masks, just imagine what an actually uninformed person is going to do.

Don't forget that beautiful people could get confused for butterfaces now too, that's the real crime
