This is coming from someone that said the best investment was ethereum back in 2016, face book when it ipoed. We see market cap of coinbase is around 60b and bitcoin is around 700b. Coinbase is doing what bitcoin can't do it. And thats bring real world businesses into transactions with crypto. Thats jp morgan, google/apple pay, visa, mastercard, tesla, now with 401k company. And they are just getting started. THe picks and shovels business do the best during a gold rush. Coinbase is the one exchange that follows what law makers want to get these big franchises to trust their exchange over the other greasy exchanges. I see a bright future in this company. But investing in this sector is def going to be a bumpy ride but imo the best long term investment in the world right now. Invest at your own risk i am not a financial advisor.

I went ahead and bought a bunch of COIN in my retirement acct on Vanguard but.... this post is trash dude sorry. It probably won't be worth more than Bitcoin.

I do think it'll be worth a lot tho as coinbase will be the #1 wallet for plebs, and likely an ease of use front-end for all of DeFi.

Another blockchain will surpass bitcoin. I don't know which one but there is better blockchains then bitcoin already. I would be dart throwing saying which one will be number 1 crypto in 10 years. The competition in blockchains is just getting more and more.

Coinbase I have worth trillions within 10 years. I don't ever see one crypto worth that much. To much competition now way to many blockchains being created. Coinbase doesn't really have competition because they follow all the rules and regulations other exchanges try to cut corner. The DOJ just started investigating binance last month. They are in hot water right now. I believe their ceo just recently quit. Coinbase has never been hacked. Their focus is security and the laws. And all these franchises want to do business with them. right now they are lined up. Coinbase is just getting started. WHen face book was 20 bucks i was beating the drum that it was the best thing to invest in. coinbase is going to have that kind of growth in crypto sector.

anyone investing in bitcoin is going to be disappointed long term. Its not going to hold its value. Institutions are already starting to buy other cryptos besides bitcoin now. Bitcoin is what made crypto boom. But it was just the start. It tech is not that great. It will be around but its not going to hold its value long term. But it is hard to say what will be the best crypto. There so many good blockchains now.

I like this logic. However, if crypto becomes bigger, what would stop Ameritrade, Fidelity, and other brokerages from stepping in and taking away Coinbase's market share?
