What’s the true usage of a treasury bond or a stock share ?
I can’t buy anything with it and has no usage in any sense .
Stocks, bonds, paper money are just existing to transfer monetary value right ?
Why you think Bitcoin is any different ?
Ok stocks represent a company under it .
Bonds represents government/corporations debt money payable to the holders .
Bitcoin represent a secure monetary p2p transfer through the internet all around the world .
Now you may think this p2p has no value and that’s fair .
But the market says otherwise for many reasons .
And don’t forget , p2p transfer on internet are so « valueless in your opinion », it brings to it’s knee , with the « help » of Napster and piratebay (that could be perceive like bitcoin ), the entire musical and movies industries ….
The difference ?
Well music and movies can’t be printed from thin air like money .
So it did hurt the economy and had to so something about those p2p medium of exchanges.
But bitcoin prices just go up has they print more money ….without endangering banks or government because again , they just can create money from thin air for ever while no one can with Bitcoin .
So Bitcoin price go up shrug.
Bitcoin go up because some part of the market says it’s valuable with its capacity to transfer money .
More people believes higher the price will get unless governments decides to stop printing money -> good luck with that ….
