The Mtgox creditors held meeting with trustee march 20,2019. The case has been appealed, and the civil rehabilitation process will continue at least until October 2019. This was expected to be resolved in February. Now no coins will be returned to the creditors soon. Most importantly, all creditors indicated that they would prefer to hold the BTC coins when they do get them rather than sell them. So the so-called "coin dumping" is not going to occur. How much all this is boosting the BTC price is anyone's guess but it seems like a plausible cause.

Apparently it was 1 buyer that set off the jump yesterday.

I don't think we bottomed yet... The feeling of despair experienced in the last bottom at 160$ just isn't there. For that you need even the most bullish people being forced to sell, cause they just can't afford not to anymore. We're not there yet....
On the other hand, when you see how easily a (relatively) small order can move the spot price, it must be just too tempting to screw overleveraged bears if you can afford it...

IF you have 100m$ and want some btc's, buying it in one bulk on exchanges over a very short period of time is not the way to proceed. If you stay out of futures, that is

I've read rumblings that the 100mm transaction was aken to insider trading and this news means new moon. That comes from fanatics so definitely needs to be taken with a grain of salt.
