If you mean that it would drop in price anyone with a brain knew that it was overbought at $18,000 and likely to come down from there. It is still up 700% in the last year.

Misunderstood your post then and I agree with you that this is just variance. Sure it's off the highs by a lot but it is also way off the 12 month lows as well.

One anecdotal sign that we might be near bottom is i got two separate texts yesterday from the LAMBO/MOON boys that I know who just got in crypto in the last year that both said some version of "**** crypto I'm out". I could only laugh thinking about all the times that BTC has gone through this same cycle. One thing I do worry about though is that at some point there isn't enough money in the world (or money that would possibly enter crypto) to have "the next cycle". Whether we are there yet or not I really have no idea but I suspect probably not.

I am also not a big HODLer, I would have made a lot more money than I did had I been historically. I have mostly held it to trade other crypto and play poker so to me I haven't really felt the pain as I have traded my way to pretty close to break even over the last 3 months as it has crashed. If you bought in late 2017 or early 2018 and did nothing but hold you obviously got killed. But I assume the only people doing that were the complete moron class.

That is precisely what I mean. Yes, it's a mundane observation, not sure why it triggers you so hard.

My new prediction is that we will continue to see "Still up from X ago!" posts, where X is an ever-increasing number.
