I don't think it will serve much purpose for posters to come in here and just celebrate the new all time high.

Augie, you keep rehashing the same ****. Whether that **** is correct or incorrect at this point, it doesn't matter, you've fully explained your position on cryptocurrencies and therefor I have no idea why you keep posting in these threads. You're basically just a trolling at this point.

I actually think that they are not correlated at all is good news.

Tho I would be very happy if both would rise in price.

But yeah, 20 point increase is insane. Also thanks litecoin.

****ing nuts you could have bought BTC like 2 weeks ago and it would have doubled in just 14 days basically.

Side note, about to hit $100,000,000,000 in cap.

Are you 12?

You haven't shown a blind bit of interest in the discussions here apart from throwing around conjecture/opinion as fact and berating the opinion of others (before you ask, eg on some ICOs), maybe with the exception of your first post recently where you discussed your "theory".

I like reading this thread, you have been making these close to unbearable. I'm not the only person to suggest that you are borderline trolling at this point but be my guest, you don't need my permission to post but maybe you would do better if you had even the slightest grasp of self awareness.

ok, gotcha, you dislike my posts. but you know full well saying i "haven't shown a blind bit of interest" is completely bogus. shame on you. i have written long and detailed posts and have mostly received short and insulting replies. i'm the one who's getting trolled and then also being called a troll at the same time.

i'm sorry that the software doesn't allow you to ignore me but i do have a secret hack for you. when you see my name and icon, don't read that post.

what would it mean for me to "do better?" could you give me a specific example for how i can modify my posts to gain your seal of approval?

Can someone explain the legacy account thing I’m seeing on my Trezor now? Should I move my coins out of there into the new accounts? Not sure what the differences are?

Also when is the next hard fork that’s being talked about supposed to happen?

Bitcoin Gold fork is scheduled for October 25th. SegWit2x fork is sometime in November.

I can't even believe there are people who refuse to accept btc at this point. The baby boomers just can't grasp the technology I suppose. Even 20k of btc will be worth a **** ton in 5 years.

I believe the Legacy account is simply the non-segwit account. Switch to your new account to be able to send send segwit (i.e. cheaper) transactions...

Yes. The simplest thing is probably to just send all your funds from your legacy account to your non-legacy account. Then you don't have to worry about it any more.
If you have more than one account, and want to keep them separate, then send all the coins from each account to a new, corresponding account.

If you use custom fee (at the bottom of the list of fee choices), then you can make the transaction(s) very cheap. You can use this https://anduck.net/bitcoin/fees/ to see which are the smallest fees that have gone through in the last day or so.

Anyone here used Poloniex? My friend send some coins from there and they were sent to the wrong address. He's looked around and others are complaining about this as well. Not sure if it's an honest mistake, or some kind of exit strategy and they're going out of business or what.

Also I'm convinced that 10% spike for eth is going to look like nothing once everything else catches up to BTC. Even if they don't rise together, it usually seems like a rise in BTC does end up in a rise to all of the major coins.

+1. I would use Bittrex over any other exchange rn. I’m only using others when Bittrex doesn’t have a particular coin I want to sell.

Bitfinex seems like the best platform if you want to hold a position. IMO bittrex is the more reliable if you're just trading and then getting the coins off as quickly as possible.

I am a fish in trading and cryptos but I bought Bitcoin/USD certificate like 7 days ago and it is now like 40%+ or so.
When I understand the hard fork stuff correctly, it is likely that the price is going to increase even more instead of crashing atleast till the 25th october till the bitcoin gold fork, correct?
I read quite a bit and watched videos but still not sure how to proceed with my certificate right now. Just hold till the end of the month?

Just withdrew a couple ETH from Poloniex and it was near instant. No problems with the handful of withdrawls I've done with them so far.
