Banning TS makes me think you are a brutallu incompetent set of moderators. He provided way more content than 99% of posters.

Agree with baseball, moderators have done well here only tourists cause issues and augie is terrible.

My OP was definitely intended to be serious however, because obviously a lot of people would object to TS' ban. And I figured we could open up a discussion on tone of posting...because it does irritate me when people come off as arrogant jerks. *shrug* Maybe it doesn't bother anyone else, but my concern assumed that might drive off more reasonable posters.

Honestly, there are 5 posters on 2+2 right now that I know of that are worth the other 500.

TS is one of them.

Just to clarify one of the biggest posters in this thread is a banned posters gimmick account... And we're talking about whether we should burn TS at the stake. Wil I'm sorry to make an example of you, but you're the PERFECT example of how backwards this whole situation is.

Anyone who looks at TS's body of work and think he should be banned needs to be demodded. Today. Can a mod explain to all of us why wil was allowed to shut down (was banned?) with his old account and is posting under a new name (Dagashi3)? Even if he is masking his IP or whatever, it's clearly him and if we are going to ban someone like TS, he should be included given what he does to every thread he's involved in.

Given that he's made it quite clear who he is, the acct should be banned.

Yeah come on unban Toothsayer. I disagree with him plenty of times, but overall he adds value here. If you really get triggered by his posts you need thicker skin.

anyway, the cliffs is that mason came in to a decently trafficked strategy forum full of regs and some really really sharp posters and ended up permabanning at least 1 reg and is currently considering another perman. he also gave week long bans to 2 others.
