Are you talking about the sportbetting niche here?

If yes, then how much do you charge?

Probably not... My hourly would be a lot higher than anyone would be willing to pay

Feel free to ask questions free of charge though

Any recommendations as to books I should read or websites I can visit to gain some uesful info?

Thanks a lot

OFA - do you think its still viable to start a page on FB given the costs to get likes? It seems like you need to invest atleast 1k into a page to get an affiliate signup, and of course there's no guarantee....I've also noticed the cost per like can vary greatly - not sure why that is.....it seems like if you want to throw 500 at a page for kicks its really a waste of money - either invest a couple grand or don't waste your time

I never read any books. Only websites I have ever seen that offer help are a scam IE 'Pay us 100s to earn 1000s from home'....

What is there to learn? Build an audience, spam the audience. EZ

Its potentially too much of a gamble for people to start on Facebook anymore. IE if I start a new page, drop 5k on it, it goes no where or gets closed by FB, I wont lose a moments sleep. No pressure on me anymore as I am constantly earning from previous sign ups.

I still to this day make new pages that make profit very quickly.

Hi man thanks for all the infos. What are your thoughts about buying a page with 30k+ likes. I know most of them will be very random at age and gender but wondering if this method works better since its less time consuming then promoting and buying ads and starting from scratch.
Thanks in advance!

Without knowing the page its impossible to tell..

IE if I said I will sell you my car for $5,000 you would surely need to see the car to decide?

First of all big thanks for this thread!
Do you boost "spam posts" with ref links directly or are you only promoting your page? I shared a betting article of my website on my fb page today and boosted it a few hours later. After that facebook halted all other promotions/boosts. I still can post and those post get the standard reach.

Thanks for the thread.

im a 26yo poker pro while studying part-time degree. looking to dive into something next next month when i graduate. May i know the following sequence of execution?

1) make a fb page for example "ManlyCoffee"
2) ask your friends to like to spread to you first initial wave of "contacts"
3) using your personal account join as many groups as possible and try to link it to "manlycoffee"?
4) after building say maybe certain audience, can start to use paid ads?
5) find product to sell, like coffeedelivery worldwide and spam "Manlycoffee"?

all above are just examples. am i getting it correct for execution?

If you boost a post with a link on it you are likely to get your ad account banned as you can not directly promote gambling via links.

Pretty much. Can probably skip step 2 these days and go straight into paid ads.

Hello everyone..

I have discovered this thread one year a go and i didnt even know if author said the true about his earnings but i wanted to try and immidietaly started an activity and promoting.

I started from zero, from scratch i just create a facebook fanpage and step by step day by day i have built my audience by giving them a CONTENT. When i got 2000 likes i created a first post with my affliate link, now i got 11k likes on my fanpage, people trust me because i give them a content...

Facebook do not cut my post because when i write to people i ask them to like the post ,,just an examle :

I have very interesting bet for tonight
200 likes and i will share it "

a lot of people like my post, i get a fresh 100 - 180 likes every day.

TODAY I DECIDED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT HERE AND SAY THANK YOU TO THE AUTHOR OF THIS THREAD !

You inspired me and it has really changed my life
My earnings from this maybe are not as big as your but now i know what my goal is and i realize that this is possible

Let me show you my results and thank you again !

This month so far :

One year earnings :

My general clicks and sign ups :

I also build my email list because i am aware that facebook can delete my website anytime
I would also apologize for my english skills, i am not a native english speaker.

Take care everyone

Good to read. I try telling my mates that even if they only make another 20k a year from doing this it could drastically change their financial status

Just a question.
Basically you are affliating only betting sites, right?

Aren´t there other possibilities or are they paying way less?

There are 100s of different options to promote... I doubt any would pay more than the betting sites

ok. Intersting would be to take the possible conversion rate into the equation. But that´s probably very difficult.

Not really affiliate marketing related but I have a webstore. I have a large active following on Instagram (20K) and a small audience on FB about 2k. I don't bore people with spam about my product too much and mainly post funny pics/vids related to the industry I'm in and the people I'm trying to target (I sell kids products, thus target audience are parents). In the hopes they will see my links to my site, share etc etc.

Recently I've had a tonne of engagement on some posts on FB (originally shared from my Instagram) where certain vids (which are just reposts of other funny pages etc) have had 250k+ views seemingly over night. And weeks down the line those same vids are getting interaction everyday, with countless shares. Some of my other content has very small engagement and its as though people aren't even looking at the page they are just seeing those vids - all my vids have a caption and then a link to my website.

I'm not sure why these random vids garnered so much attention it was organic and I didn't pay for it (although have spent lots on Fb ads without great results) but maybe someone famous shared it?

Anyway the question I have is, while that's all well and good and I can then invite all these random people to like the Facebook page, maybe 5% actually like it. So it hasnt really helped me. How can I get more people to like the page and thus drive traffic to my website for example and take advantage of these ?

5% strikes me as a decent conversion

Hi. I have been approached about an affiliate. It doesn't have to do with poker sites, but I want to approach poker players as its a great way to make income from your phone or tablet. And it's as Legit as Amazon is real...

What is the first thing you would do?
How would you start and what things would you continue to do?
Any advice is helpful! Thanks.

Have dropped in on this a few times, quite fascinating. It is harder for US residents due to gambling laws? ty its late might be asking something that has already been asked.

Op,

I gave this AM business some thought last year, when I made some money betting. Thought I'd share my thoughts, frustrations, ideas for value betting...Something like a blog basically. Then I said to myself, well, I can add in a little profit by becoming an affiliate.

Got a few questions:
1) Can I become an affiliate ONLY with a facebook page? Since FB transformed, there's been a lot of targeted ads, following audiences, blah, blah, making it easier to pay to reach your audience. So I thought I'd rather just do a FB page then host a website on my own - I don't jhave the tiem to build a website, nor the experience.
2) IF the answer to that question is NO - Is there a loophole? Like create a really ****ty website, become an affiliate with that address, then build a FB page, use the links...and at some point bother to upgrade the website so it isn't artwork created by 4-yr old?
3) Is it a good idea to start linking affiliate stuff from the start?
I say this because I mostly do basketball bets, and that one bookmaker I'm wondering whether to name, has the widest variety of basketball markets and is purely the reason I started doing this. Also, my strategy involves bets probably not offered anywhere else...so thinking that if someone want's to give this a try, thats the only site to go to.

Thanks,
Netz

Firstly, I have absolutely no doubt OP is telling the truth, and thanks for the very interesting thread.

I'm extremely familiar with affiliate marketing and FB advertising in general, but I'm slightly out of the loop on what's allowed, paid advertising-wise, on FB nowadays when it comes to gambling. If one had a football blog type site, with pages on tips including affiliate links to bookies, would you be allowed to run paid FB ads direct to that page?
