Does anybody know what Facebooks "Reality Labs" division actually does to make $877 million in revenue? I'm 40 and not super in the loop on the meta stuff. Looks like the Reels hurt them but how would they not see that coming. Looks like a bunch of excuses. But maybe ad revenue is down industry wide. I don't know..
Energy SUN XOM, DBC is saving my long-term port plus hedges. Still playing CVS earnings with 110 strike calls. Basiclally blown up my small fun options account if the CVS doesn't hit.
Reality labs is the section that made all their VR products, mainly that Oculus headset which is apparently doing pretty good.
Long term according to Zuck it’s basically the future of the company because it develops all the software and hardware for the “Metaverse”. They’re pouring tons of cash and people into it, and Zuckerberg has basically admitted he knows Facebook is going to die and wants this to be their pivot. Their revenue is going to be dropping for at least the next couple years imo.
