Man it's frustrating that GE did a 1-8 reverse split. $13/share is way better than $104/share. They supposedly did it so that "the price per share reflects the future of the company, not the past" which, lol.

The thing that sucks is that my covered calls are all listed by the old share price but the price per contract is listed based on the new price. So I have to do math to figure out what's going on.

Cut IRWD -4.8% loss. Momentum stalled. Broker didnt fill my PFE call order. Guess the limit order didnt hit. Dang thats just a downside of position trading and not being able to day trade all the time. PFE really going again. Options look way more pricey now. Gonna wait for a dip. Its gotta be way above upper bollie 20,2

I should have put a loose limit order instead to avoid slippage. I usually use market orders on my momo stocks just to make sure i get filled. Im still new to options. Talking to to this guy who works at Wells yesterday about small cap beverage companies WTER JSDA. These seem to be in play. I was like the strategy in this market is just find the stuff that isnt overvalued already. Buy a stock that isnt up 200% and you might be on to something. Lol

JSDA up 170% last 30 days and 450% YTD. WTER looks intriguing though, any insight as to why from Wells dude? Something to look into other than you explained.

He had been looking at this small-cap beverage company EAST and it registered that JSDA WTER had been in play too so it seems some rotation has been going into these kind. I also know of JVA as a pretty big underperformer historically with potential. Jones Soda JSDA I know from the past as a miss-managed company it seemed like to me along with the JVA Coffee Holdings. JSDA actually is on the shelfs in my city at Harris Teeter the grocery store. Harris Teeter is the upscale grocery chain in my part of the country and they are as plentiful as Mcdonalds in some areas. But anyway, it has always been an underperformer. The fact that management is actually doing something with this cannabis press release is interesting. When I see a press release like that I usually take it as BS hype but even though this is OTC it is one of the very rare ones with a real product. 99% of OTC BB stocks are shell corps, sketchy.

I know JVA's financials pretty well because it has always been a deep value stock. The floor of the stock was always net tangible asset value and it even went below that briefly many years back. It seems fairly valued to me here but just ones I keep an eye on. JVA has always had consistently flat revenue growth and that is why I think if it was managed better there is a ton of potential in wholesale coffee. The CBD thing might be a sign management is trying to turnaround.

WTER is interesting to me more as a momentum trading play but I guess it has turnaround potential too. These fad diets come and go and I had just recently heard someone talk about being on an "alkaline diet" lol so maybe some idiot consumers start noticing the company more if more people are talking about alkaline. Just random thoughts. Or more of a longshot someone buys them out down the road to unlock some value in this long-term underperfomer.

I had 3200 total cash sitting in margin account and wanted to get exactly 8 Etsy 190 weeklies but had to be $3.97 with commissions, had order sitting last hour of day and missed it by 3 cents and then last price was $4.05. Should have just deposited the $25 or bought 7 of them. Was basing it on their last two earnings big drops as well as Amazon tanking after earnings. Seems like there must be some other good earnings coming up to get puts on.

LSPD has been on such a tear, now of my best performers for the last year.

I got out of etsy a few months back.

HPQ.V has been getting hammered with 31m warrants expiring this month so much dilution with penny stocks
Investment Quebec already cashed their 15m warrants, the other 16m are held by PYR and their next quarterly earnings I think 90% chance are next to 0.

It's a bumpy ride...

I sold my shares of NTS this morning at 1.2 instead of waiting for the deal to close at 1.25

Should of bought atm for $4. Oh well, still might break even tomorrow. The way OTM only really starts to pay off more than the ATM after a 11% or more drop, but there have been some big earning tanking going on and took the risk.

$EXEL smashed analysts expectations, has double digit YoY growth, but price still being impacted for a single Phase 3 blemish on one of their drugs... HC Wainwright adjusts target price to 64 (currently trading below 18). Give me a break and I will bite. What am I missing that is prevent this from screaming money printing machine???

I remember that stock when it traded for $3 a share awhile back. So either its up that much or management did a reverse split. Prob a few reverse splits. Those never look good and they probably had to sell stock for financing too. So its diluted. Still today though it is actually green in this down market. Biotechs usually have pretty poor fundamentals. If it really did go $2 to $18 its just fully valued. Tough to expect much more after that kind of run

Normally I would agree with you, but in a quick search I didn't see any historical RS, not have I seen the stock price near $3 in the past 3yrs.

Also normally Pharm carries debt/negative earnings due to reinvestment into research. Anyone that trades or invests in pharm should understand that.

It traded for $1.44 in late 2014, $3 about five years ago. I peeked at it a little more and it sure is impressive growth they are doing on EPS and Revenue. Past 3 yrs shares outstanding is pretty stable too.

thought I was being smart 2 weeks ago swapping some of my BABA shares for some 2 year 200/225/250 strike june 2023 calls when the price dropped a bit but IV crushed. 2/3rd of them were OTM ones. should have just sold some calls ugh since it was so close to earnings release date.

do I bag hold these , sell some calls vs it to lower the cost basis and try to sell them right before the next earnings release when IV is high again?

Perhaps just cut my loses now, sell out and try to get into some deep in the money calls when IV is lower in a month or two

I'm in HEO.V , H20 Innovation Inc. for the water part of the infrastructure deal. They're also in line to get a few contracts from all the battery plants getting built. It wasn't officially revealed but if you dig through the paperwork they got the contract for the Tesla plant in Texas.

It's HEOFF on the OTCQX

I know it sucks to think about and I hate politics but there could be some easy stock plays off this. Trying to brainstorm. I know AMZN is a no-brainer and home education....what else? I'm thinking more long biased because if there is no reaction by government the bull market is more likely to just continue.
I just read an article on my official local news site they are about to vote on an indoor mask "mandate" for everyone in the next couple days. They quoted a public official as saying they will consider "social distancing" as on the table also. So I'm guessing they are keeping that in their back pocket for the fall surge. This is all now the exact same rhetoric as spring 2020. I'm gonna look for pull-backs on the obvious winners on another spring 2020 panic. Seems win-win from an investing standpoint. PFE continues to impress me and its wild it took atleast half a year for the market to truly come around to the stock. It's now almost 6% of my longterm port. And how JNJ lagged and ran so obviously this past week. So much for market efficiency
