Thanks for doing this. Juan is ridic.

Is the formula correct for short Gain/Loss (%)?

eg. Tooth is Short TLRY, Entry: 17.13, Current: 4.03, Gain/Loss: +76.47%. Isn't his position 4x? Maybe I am missing something.

Pretty sure I won the last 2 years

Only reason I cared to enter was to continue to expose TS as a fraudulent sociopath

When he gets crushed in every position he has ever posted and posters like you continue to give him credit it's hard to care

Just post about bfi instead of TS. Not sure what your obsession has to do with me beyond you force it on people like me

Get help bro?

How can I get crushed in every position I've ever posted when I have multiple 5-10 baggers posted and closed? It's not even possible by chance to get crushed in every position you post. Your brain is starved of oxygen from blood flowing to your huge hardon for me. It's kind of flattering and weird at the same time.

I guess that's why you didn't post when my picks were leading the pack up 40% (crickets), but you post when they're second to last at -60%.

This is the second yearly FUN stock picking thread you've entered with your weirdo loser hardon for me. Can someone explain to this idiot the concept of a fun contest? If you want real trades, I 10 bagged Tesla earlier this year which gives me 1000% to play with. Doing better than you any day.

P.S. The contest gets scored at end of year, not when I'm up 40% or down 60% intrayear. You really should have gone to a better school.

Why not do this as a playmoney contest on any one of the fantasy stock trading platforms?
Everyone starts off at 1mm, contest ends at some specified time.
That allows the flexibility to go in and out positions and see who has the better judgement/insight without the picks being a year long suicide pact. Some of them allow single-trade caps to prevent completely unrealistic monkey-bets.

Top 5% gets to pick the forum avatars of the bottom 5%.

I would participate in this. Could also make for some fun sidebets.

i think the google finance auto update is broken for some tickers sometimes (at least for me). but sometimes it works.
i bet there are errors in there or i missed someone. just tell me if you find something.

i just took everything that had a ticker. if we do this again next year, we should clarify the rules (like allow or disallow ETFs).
So you're saying there's a chance that I may be crowned the champ at this pace? Hahaha...

Average portfolio value at market close (daily, weekly, or monthly) might be interesting too.

Yeah mori's is amazing. He picked the crappiest stuff he could find and shorted it.

Then what a year. The Chinese Communist Party infected the world with SARS-2 and the mother of all retail bubbles (this is bigger than 1999/2000 imo) ending up soaring the crap as drooling retails piled into awful stocks and crappy coins with their stimulus checks and boredom at home for one of the greatest ponzi waves in history.

NIO is my favorite. Up 1100% to $76 billion (2.5x Ford). Notable mentions of Bitcoin, Tesla, Overstock. Getting caught short Zoom into a global lockdown pandemic is just terrible luck too.

Haha that's probably not a good sign given the nature of this year (see above).

I did not beat the market. It is a bit surprising how strong the treasury bond etf returns were given that equities also did well. Your Grandpa is still right about the 60/40 portfolio in 2020.

It's not surprising given the deflation that occurred in the middle of the year.
