I'm going to be looking at symbols with liquid options. Would hypothetically be selling 30 delta monthly options against my positions. Although long vol over the course of a year is a death trade, it think we could see enough action to make it profitable this year. I will be selling vol spikes IRL

i think we had ETFs for the last two years, so i guess it's fine. if we do another next year i'll make the rules more clear.

there is nothing to win and everybody knows that this is no way to measure performance anyway, but the last two years we atleast got some discussions going about some of the picks.

A lot of people did GBTC the last two years running. No ETFs better for sure. Add Apple short instead at these absurd highs. Not a single thing worth getting long.

Hmm, I didn't realize anyone had done ETFs previously. Smaller and niche ETF seem fine I guess. No one is doing spy or anything like that, witchwood defeat the purpose in my opinion, so whatever

My take is if someone wins with all ETFs they win with all ETFs. They allow some strategy too. Like with different asset classes, bonds or country, region specific etc. I picked the Nigeria ETF NGE because it's the most beaten down contrarian play out there and it's gonna be funny if it beats a blue chip company.

What's wrong with etf's? As far as I know they have always been "allowed". What wasn't allowed was cheapo penny stocks. I forget what the cutoff price was? But there are more etf's nowadays than non-penny stocks. If you can pick the right etf's more power to you!
