i have 2 24" screens i work on and a bigger one about two feet away to my left that i use as a tv.
i spend most of my time reading and only look at charts for maybe 5 minutes a day, so that's sufficient.

sometimes i could use another one for memes.

What software recommendations do ya'll have for noob traders?

FWIW, I have two 65in TVs next to one another and have room to add slightly smaller monitors above them.

I am the pixel king, 12960*7680, equivalent to 12.5 4k monitors. Your eyes will adjust.

i used to roll with a 4k as my primary but my eyes were never really able to adjust. that setup is bonkers, would love to see a picture.

Everyone should exchange their multi-displays to 21:9 ultrawide monitors. Easier to control windows and aesthetically give your office a much cleaner look. I'll snap a pic later

Desk
Chair
Laptop (dell xps 13)
Dock (dell tb16)
Monitor (LG 34" 21:9 ultrawide)
Wireless mouse and keyboard (cheap logitech)
Headphones (includes FiiO amp, AKG K7XX, and stand)

Curved 21:9s are the nuts, way better than any multimonitor. Sadly they're too big to travel with but whenever I'm settled for a couple of months I buy one.

Yep. The upper bound to usable screen size has been restricted by hardware not capable of displaying these millions of pixels at the required resolution/hertz. But now graphics cards, processor speeds, and connectivity have caught up making single giant displays possible (with an ultra portable laptop). I actually much prefer the above home setup to my office setup of dual 21" 16:10 monitors. I'm in excel and ppt 70% of my day though. Maybe trading setups need to be different, idk.
