Pretty sharp reversal in oil today in what I assume is a reaction to the news of all the dead Russian private soldiers down there that aren't officially down there.

Market outside of oil doesn't seem to care, but it's certainly interesting to watch for energy.

Twitter decent medium term short at $33 (I liked it long at $19 a few months ago) with Jack throwing cold water on an acquisition and talking about Twitter's structural advertising issues at a conference. Profit taking fairly likely.

Chipolte decent medium term long at $281 with the Taco Bell CEO brought in to help turn it around. Personally I think the company is trash, but it's been priced a lot higher even recently and the new big-deal CEO should be a nice upside catalyst.

30 pt swing on 66% beat. 0.5% is no joke. What I saw from the rest of the world was, numbers were mostly as expected.

EUR lower too for a while I expect.

Chipolte was such an easy buy here. You'd have been crazy not to take some. This was almost free money. Hedge it with Twitter puts if you're worried about the market.

What was the expected move? I am not buying it here. Its back into resistance on the daily.

To $320 or so in the coming weeks unless the market dives. Medium term.

New CEO. I could never bring myself to buying Chipotle stock because I find their product to be the nut low. The new CEO was the Taco Bell CEO so maybe he can bring some TB goodness to the craptastic Chipotle.

I think the odds greatly favor bullish action at least until monthly expiration.

After that we will need to pause or head lower. Personally, I think that double bottom (ES) will be retested (and fail) before we see new highs in the indexes.

It's not the market it was. Vol blowing up has changed the amount of risk people will pile on, which changes the nature of runs, reversals, etc. Try to trade or read the market like 2017 will get you killed now. 2017 was highly abnormal and we likely won't see that again for a while. Got to adapt. Bulls make money, bears make money, pigs get slaughtered.
