Snap short of Equifax at the open. Not nearly enough for what's about to happen to them.

its been trading up, since open, but this could really hurt them long term,, 143 million basically means every one over 18 , who has applied to any type of credit in the last 7 years

Looks like pretty big short interest, lots selling the news. What's your play?

I'm still holding. I read in their annual report a long time ago they do utilities in Florida.

Compelling close in CMCSA today right to the 200d, will be watching closely early Monday morning for some continuation to the upside off these oversold levels ($37.5 today's low is the stop). Have been short DIS since before their earnings report so I think their issues are clearly different in the short term.

I like BABA longer term but wouldn't be surprised to see continued weakness next week. Nasty reversal today to basically close at lows and couldn't regain the previous highs as the Chinese Web Index KWEB hit an ATH earlier this week.

The indices are so boring compared to what's happening under the surface. So many cross currents & large swings.

baba is also correlated to amazon

does the market even react to irma if it does what it's expected to? vix crept up today but the selling was limited and seemed to be in tech

nasdaq these days is basically aapl

I'd have to think boat makers will be reselling boats forever now. Will destroy every little vessel.

yeah tech is moving together. baba seems to be even more highly correlated to amzn

its probably just noise but i found it odd that tech stocks were selling before a weekend that was looking at n korea missile testing and a natural disaster in florida. the rest of the market was relatively flat. i was thinking it was large funds who are heavily weighted in tech just taking risk off but thats probably not accurate

the reaction or non reaction to those events or non events will be interesting either way imo
09-09-2017 , 04:41 PM
north korea probably shoots another missile today because its the anniversary of their founding and they love celebrating stuff like that

i feel like the hurricane is gonna be a non event, if anything it's just another thing to deal with on future GDP/hiring numbers and it's another dynamic added to future debt limits

i dont think tech really gives a **** about either point, the correlation isn't there and their equivalent of vix only pops if AAPL/AMZN have a bad run

I dunno about non-event. Cat 4 landing looks likely. Wonder if it can do 5. Really hope not.

I want to buy some PLAY in the $40's.

Massive call buying in SNAP last few days, action certainly has been much different since the earnings almost capitulation.

Another name like CMCSA, T (AT&T) has seen non stop bullish flow trying to pick the bottom from last week's move to 52w lows. Decent risk reward with the stop being Friday's low of $35.1.

Added to Weed on the breakout today, and averaged down on JO.

Pretty boring month for me overall.

EFX - fire still burning... How low will it go?

"Equifax Inc. is an unsecure consumer credit reporting agency. Equifax collects, aggregates, and fails to protect the information of over 800 million individual consumers and more than 88 million businesses worldwide." wikipedia

Long NAL.TO from 70 cents. tight stop. If oil rallies this is where I wanna be. Hopefully shorts start covering soon. They feasted.
