I am a low level poker player/retiree who wanted to learn more about poker. I tried one training site which was not a good fit. I heard about Chris Murray and made an appointment to talk poker. What a life changer.

Working with Chris Murray has transformed my poker game. He is a coach who challenges you and teaches using the Socratic method of asking questions. You provide the answers. He continues until you understand the point he is making and you absorb it.

It does not involve memorization but is interactive. He assigns homework to reinforce the concepts you are learning. Everything has changed for me. Understanding game theory (at least partially!) has made me into a winning player. I have documented every session since I moved to Las Vegas two years ago.

I first became profitable at 1/3 and was encouraged to move up to 2/5. I played for this first time last fall and flourished. I have since played several sessions of 5/10 with moderate success. You can tell the difference in the quality of play at this level.

Evidence of improvement was dramatic in tournaments as well. I ran deep in a WSOP tournament and made a final table. I have never achieved anything close to this as you might imagine as the typical 1/3 player. No doubt it was impossible without the changes to my game made by Chris.

His construction course which takes several months to complete is excellent. All the tools you need for bet sizing, MDF, considerations for betting every street among other factors are covered in detail. Homework is assigned to reinforce the concepts we go over in class. Office hours are held to ask any questions about class, go over homework or hand histories.

His time spent with you during the month is extensive. He always takes the time to answer all questions and obviously cares about the studentÂ’s understanding the concepts and progressing.

I cannot recommend Chris Murray enough. The value is undeniable. Persuadeo.nl is his website.

I too worked with Chris and have nothing but glowing words to share.

I started six months ago and did a deep dive into his poker education, system and philosophy. We did two months of private coaching, focusing on the essentials - what is a bet? why do we x/r? what is range and nut advantage and how does it affect how we approach each of our decision points? He works by assigning questions that you answer and from which he draws further questions - as Jen said, using a Socratic method. This is not for those who aren't ready to work and have their assumptions and rusty heuristics challenged. Not a "watch a hundred videos" education.

In spring and the first part of summer, I worked with him in a group setting doing his Construction series. The depth of knowledge and understanding cannot be overstated. These are not your usual "coach runs through hand histories" coaching sessions. Hand histories are used but always to eduction on essential theory and used to distill playable heuristics. The value (a flat monthly fee for four hrs a week of zooms and unlimited skype and forum access) is insane. I have worked with a number of very good coaches, including Kevin Rabichow and Christian Soto, but Chris takes poker education to a new level.

Prepare to be exposed to poker in a way very few are able to offer.

Chris was key part of the Red Chip community back in the Berkey/Soto/Ed Miller/Split-Suit/Tommy Angelo days. Anyone who remembers his contributions to the forums will understand what I mean when I say Chris' posts stood out in the depth and knowledge he brought to understanding live cash play. The implementation of solver tools has only deeped Chris' strategy.

I can't more highly recommend working with Persuadeo. No nonsense, no bullshit, thoughtful, dense, and comprehensive poker education. Highly recommend. A+++
