i've participated in one of these before and it went to the ****ter.

my advice for op if you really want to get going is to start small. do it with one or two people and trade videos that way.

if other people want to contribute, they can join in but you'll always have your solid group that will be consistent with submitting videos.

if you start too big, the few people who drop out (and there will definitely be people who drop out) will start a cascade of dropouts which will result your work going to the ****ter.
