I'll start with a little background about myself: I first played poker around 5 years ago and immediately fell in love with the game. I quickly decided that I wanted to become a professional player. I quit my day job March 2021 and have been playing mainly 2/5 games in Australia. I built my roll from savings and playing live games and have never put in significant volume online. I have had reasonable success at beating these games.

I want to learn how to beat online poker for a few reasons and am looking for a coach to guide my journey.

The reasons I want to learn online poker:

• Improve my skills and understanding of the game so I'm ready to beat higher stakes live games like 5/10+
• Be able to generate income from wherever I am in the world. I love travelling and would love to spend some time in Thailand or South America grinding online.
• Challenge myself to be the best poker player I can be. Low stakes live games are very soft and don't require too many study hours to beat. This has lead me to be complacent at times and my game has suffered.
• I enjoy the large amount of volume and action you can play online compared to live

My goals for online poker

• Generate enough income to live off and open up the freedom to travel
• Be able to beat mid stakes online within 2 years
• Be able to beat high stakes cash down the road

I will need help with many of the basics including

• Site Selection
• Table Selection
• HUD use
• Using a solver
• General online poker tools e.g. Poker tracker, note taking etc.

Of course I will also need help developing my technical poker skills

2/5 in Australia is probably softer than NL2 at GG and Pokerstars. Traveling and playing online, may likely not be feasible. It could likely take two years just to beat NL 25. You are best off beating the NL 1000 games live, and saving money to travel.

The best way to start is to go over to bestpokercoaching and get the Nobs 6max course. Then, buy the masterclass. Once you reach 25nl, consider a coach for profits deal.
