I have been playing online for some time. Work on my game pretty often, put in about 1-2hrs of study for every 2000 hands or so. Used to play microstakes mtts but switched over to cash games to fit my schedule better. I study often with videos, hand reviews, etc. and think my fundamental knowledge and game is pretty good (I could be deluded though). However, I am having a really hard time beating nl10z on pokerstars. I have taken many shots at it and sometimes it goes ok but a majority of the time I am losing or breakeven. This year I have played nearly 100k hands and am running at -2.6bb/100. I am beating the pool overall pre-rake but it appears that I can't beat the rake. I've played so many hands cuz I did bad in January and February, and bounced back and forth from nl5 (which I do well in) to nl10. Was able to take another shot in March and did exceptionally well. Even bumped my roll to take a shot at nl16 at beginning of April. I decided to play a table of nl16 with a table of nl10. I did ok with +3BI at nl16 over 3-4k hands but simultaneously losing badly at nl10. I, then decided to stick with playing nl10 cuz I wanted to prove I could beat it before moving up further. So far though.... I haven't proven it and April has been disastrous.
Despite playing for quite awhile, I never actually made an account here. In hindsight probably not very smart cuz I could have used the community as a study tool but anyway, live and learn.... Now to my main point of this post other than a quick introduction. I am not sure where to look on the forums for this, but I am looking for someone to potentially help me do a database review/leak find. I am going to attempt my own with some tutorials but obviously having an unbiased eye would be best. If someone could point me in the right direction, it would be very helpful and appreciated.
Anyway, sorry for the ramble. I look forward to interacting with the community going forward.
