I play in a weekly game with 4 to 5 buddies. Its a 'dealer's choice' game, but we usually end up playing a lot of Omaha Hi-Lo (& slight variations of it).
Stakes are such that on a good or bad night you could win or lose maybe up to $200?? Guys are like me - decent players...some seem to be "better" (ie more wins than losses). I find myself losing more than I'm winning. And, I think one of my problems is that I play too conservatively....? (plus, I think I might generally be an "unlucky" person when it comes to blind luck.) I'm wondering if I just "hung in there" more often if I'd improve my chances of winning. But how can I know WHEN to hold'em & WHEN to fold'em? Any tips / suggestions to improve my weekly win stats would be appreciated.

your not unlucky, i promise. in live games we see a small sample (variance can be insane over small samples).

i dont know if your studying, but even spending just an hour a day can have a massive impact on your winrate
