I recently buy a software piosolver and i want one coach to use this programme and the utility in game. I also read in fórum some articles about the concepts of GTO.
I play sng/mtts and MTT's as well.
If someone have sugestions about how can i improve my pos-flop please tell me.
I can pay the coach of 1h at a normal price of the coacher.
1) Understand what GTO means generally speaking. Understand the "prisoners dilemma" and read up on wikipedia and other sites.
2) I think most training sites have theoretical concept videos that explain the concept and how it applies to poker. Pokerstrategy.com or Runitonce
3) Understand the use and it's limitations in poker. Generally, in order to understand the world (not limited to poker) we use certain concepts and models. But they are only that: Concepts and Models. They are an approximation to "objectivity", if we believe such thing exists.
The better the model, the more it explains. Understand which model does best in regards to what your goal is.
Honestly just buy will tiptons HU no limit books. They are 4 years old but honestly they were so ahead of the time and since it's about GTO they have not dated and are still very relevant and don't just apply to HU either.
They are relatively cheap around $70 for both volumes. (certainly compared to coaching much cheaper you would need about 40-50 hrs of coaching to learn what's in those books) Book 1 if I recall spends about half the book outlining what GTO play looks like and some of the fundementals behind it before moving on specifically to river spots. Book 2 looks at flop and turn play separately and is also really good.
Once you have worked your way through that if you need more help/coaching then have a look around. I would say that if you work through those books (they are not an easy read) you will have a really good feel for what GTO play looks like and the principles behind it.
There are also free game theory courses online (they don't specifically related to poker) that give a general/basic grounding in game theory. I have done a couple myself check out coursea they have some intro game theory courses and some advanced ones from stanford university.
All these are going to be a better alterative to getting specific coaching on how to use pio solver and cheaper in the short run and actually long run!.
In fact there is a lot of merit to working out alot of this stuff for yourself rather than paying someone to tell you the obvious.
Also on that I have watched a few videos of people using pio solver, by people who are 'coaches' and the vast majority are very very poor. With little actual analysis or critical thinking I. E not explaining why the solver takes a certain line or the logic behind it, and generally they narrate the solver and have bad ranges/bet sizes also #rant
