I laughed so hard at the bad advise they give man are the games gonna be juicy once the fish gets a hold of this site!

Look for instance at Chris preflopp stratt so ultrafishy!! Might work if ure shortstacked in a tourny but in a cashgame you will get ultraraped!

How are these guys considered "pros"? They have the though process of a .10/.20NL player with the exception to Wasicka and Cunningham. Ferguson is a freaking joke, no wonder he nits it up playing cash game on tv because he will get owned if he plays more hands.

After going through the site, I realized why they dont have Ivey on there. He is one of the few among their team of "pros" that can actually play poker. How have Howard/Ferguson been playing poker so long and think like they just red Harrington on Holdem? Cunningham and Wasicka are the only good players on their.

It's probably because Ivey rarely talks strategy?

If it's actually part of their business plan to make the games tougher - to their benefit and the winning player's detriment - pretty disturbing. But many players never learn to improve enough anyway.....

It would be sick but totally useless to 99.999999% of the poker playing population.

This will never happen.

Mandy B's(who the **** is she anyway?) vids are pathetic. On a J52 flop she cbets for around half pot w/AQ, checks behind a K turn claiming it was a bad card so she wont bet, but that she would have bet a J turn

The site is terrible and the videos really aren't worth watching. The only good part was Aaron Bartley saying he reraises to a goofy number to let them know that he's a fun guy.

nick schulman and paul wasicka's video's were pretty good. nothing i didn't know, but considering it's free, i think a lot of starting off players could benefit from them

You guys have to understand their not exactly making these video for 2p2 audience. They want more people to sign up for FT. Mainstream audiences are where the potential for new sign-ups really comes from.

Mainstream-joe knows Chris Ferguson, wants easy to follow concise tips to feel comfortable signing up and depositing online. Hopefully they market this well and new players sign up thinking they're good to go with this training. More players on the site, more money, seems ok to me.

Anyone see Kristy Gazes PLO8 vid? Basically didn't seem like she cared at all about playing good poker or instructing and just wanted to splash around a bit at a low limit. Was quite amusing, she would always make a throwaway comment about a call being bad and then deciding to gambol it up and call anyway.

I hope the rest of them start making terrible plays and people start emulating them.

Kristy Gazes PLO8 was pretty funny, although she played kinda goofy she def knows her stuff. Aaron Bartley played pretty bad at full ring O8 but somehow won a ton of bets at $15/$30. Other mixed game vids are pretty good.

What, in general or specific, was bad? Feel free to PM it to me if you don't want to derail the thread.

More on point, most people here have it on the nose. Obv the site isn't really catering to winning regs, it's more for the novice player but who knows whats coming in the future, I'm sure it's possible that more higher-level content will be added.

hello that logo on the ftp poker academy webpage looks like there is a penis in the red ftp triangle. i suggest that you change it.

thanks,
fuji

Hello fuji,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

We appreciate your opinions on the subject of our Full Tilt Poker Academy logo. The shape you are referring to is actually meant to be the tassel of a graduation cap. The reference to this may be misleading, as the Full Tilt Poker logo is a triangle, instead of the square shape for conventional graduation caps.

We shall review the logo and consider changing it to prevent any future misinterpretations of the tassel being a part of the male anatomy.

If there's anything else we can help you with, please feel free to ask. We're always here to help.

Regards,

Tom
