Give that dude his money. I can't believe you can be that stupid, that you would ruin your own coaching reputation pretty much forever for $200 or so. Especially, since there are so many great coaches.

Just wow...Seriously, if anyone hires you again, he needs a brain transplant, not a coach.

Based on this case I would definately be looking to everybody else for coaching, never ever would I hire someone who screwed another customer over like that.

Dan stop being a wanker, you have already promised a refund so do it, you have lost all 2+2 coachings thread respect. So pay the guy his money back otherwise one day he might find you and bad things could happen...lol

NO ONE GET COACHING OF THIS IDIOT!

If you look in his coaching thread you can see he is/was very desperate to find people. He also mentioned that he no longer plays 200 NL which can only mean that he most likely can't beat it anymore and has to get money somehow.

He was so desperate to get people to coach that he was bumping his own thread every few hours and eventually got it deleted and a short ban I believe.

So based on those things it's easy to see why he refused to refund after saying he would. Unfortunately for him this ended his chances of getting money from this type of service (or any service he will offer in the future).

For Dan, refund the money, and save the bit of honor you have left...

something really stinks about this guy .
He has made 3 seperate threads promoting his coaching program.
The 2nd one he got banned for 2 days for bumping his own thread
3 times in 3 days . His 3rd thread all he says is he had to make a
new one cos his thread got locked .

Also some of these so called students that big him up and say how
great he is say a lot of the same things after having one session
with him .

How can one student who had never posted before say in their very first
post that this guy is a great coach he has plugged my leaks etc ?
To me it looks like a lot of these replys are probably made up to
try and get this guy business , wouldnt surprise me if he made a lot
of those highly recommended posts himself .

I really think this guy is broke and thats why he wont refund Bung his money
and he is just trying to make a quick buck to build a roll again by
offering his services .

come clean Mr P0tR1pp3r scumbag

A research here shows that P0tR1PP3r has associations with people who have scammed people in the zoo transfer thread. It seems he convinced others he wasn't those people and so far there have been no problems. I think P0tR1PP3r needs to prove he isn't any of those people by fixing this issue NOW.

I appreciate your support (and everyone else's for that matter) clapyourhands. However, just to let everyone know, it is not my intention to deter anyone from pre-paying for more than one lesson in advance with any coach. There are many reputable coaches, with a strong following and solid refs out there, who would never even think of being dishonest with their clients' money.

Its not skepticism and doubt that I want to encourage here, but rather responsibility, on both the part of the seeking student, and potential coach.

LOL at thinking you have any legal claim to the $ if he chooses not to continue with the coaching.

That's what I was referring when I said he scammed the person. Different type of scam but still a scam. Thanks for the link.

It also seems that our friend was last seen 1 hour ago, # Last Activity: Today 09:03 PM but he has nothing more to say here.

Busted !!!
