I have been looking at attending one of the two or three day camps for tournament play. Would like to hear from those that have attended. Did you feel that it was worth the investment, would you recommend it to others, did you learn things that have improved your play,etc.?

Never been but it's prob more marketing than sustenance.

Tons of good coaches on 2p2 you can hire.

Thanks for the reply. Due to the lack of responses I'm guessing that these camps aren't popular with the 2+2 forum readers.

Any thoughts on how to find a reputable coach on 2+2?

Most coaches teach cash - so not sure if you're looking for a tournament coach.

There is a coaching directory sticky in SSNL and there are a bunch of cash coaches listed on the deuces cracked site.

I went to WSOP academy. Won a seat online. It really wasnt all that good. very basic holdem strategy taught from a hand chart at the one I went to. I wasnt impressed.

I was always under the impression that these were more of a "get to meet the pros" type of ordeal than to really delve into deep thoughts about poker.
