I've been trying to implement the 3 bet into my game. Ive had some success with it. Im not quite sure though when and how to 3 bet out of position. Ive had success doing it with small suited connectors. Should you 3 bet with weak aces or mid strength kings? The hand below shows an example of the problem I have. I was facing a lag who open raised every button.

Sidenote*10 hands before he raised the button and I flopped two pair. He bet every street with Ace high on a KJT flop. Im sure that I played it wrong...any suggestions?

I don't think it was smart light 3 betting there because he is already commited and you risk the chance of him going all in preflop and resulting in you making a crying call with a weak hand. You were basically just building the pot for him and folding if you dont hit a King or Jack. The best play here is to fold preflop and wait for a Ax hand to push him preflop.

Usually KJo is not a good 3betting hand considering villains stack size as villain should really be folding or 4bet shoving on you. He called which is just poor play on his part.

Anyway, now that you've 3bet, you should cbet the ace high flop with a high frequency. Perhaps in the range of 1.5k to 2.5k as the pot is 7.5k and villains stack is ~6k, and villain really can't reraise shove as a bluff.
