I have been playing no limit for about 3 years now. I got startes a little later in life but enjoy playing and learning the game immensely.

I prefer to play multi table tournaments but I will occasionally play cash to fill my time. I typically play a TAG style in cash but it also depends on the table dynamics. If I am playing with a full table of nits and passive aggressive I may play a little more LAG.

I was playing the other night and did fairly well for my session but it seems my +/- is typically dependent on one or two hands through my sessions.

How should this hand be played?

I am in the SB with AKs. I had been playing TAG for a couple hours waiting for a premium hand.

There is a straddle for $5UTG.
Raise from middle position to $20.
Everyone folds to the button who was JUST felted the previous hand and rebought for the max.
The button shoves for 200.

I have approximately the same chips stack.

Do I call or fold? I thought about it for a few minutes before my decision.

You're worried about either AA or KK and everything else you're in good shape. I make that call all day.

Easy call. Pretty much anyone would raise smaller with KK or AA to get more action. This is a common live player shove with like JJ (they hate JJ because they're dumb). Could even be AQ or other Ax hands.

Blockers to what? AA & KK? what about 1010, QQ and JJ. Even if he has 66, do you know our equity is about 50% (I bet you didn't).

Why would you want to flip with your stack?

If we are there to gamble we should be playing table games :-/

Call it off pretty happily vs someone who just got stacked and rebought.
