Hi all,

I just started a new PLO study group today with a few guys who are trying to take their PLO game to the next level. We're looking for people who are already pro/semi-pro poker players, or who are serious about making income through poker and are working hard to get to that point, I'd prefer if you're playing 50PLO or higher (so we know you're serious), but open to making exceptions. I'm a longtime NL cash pro who's recently changed my primary focus to learning/grinding PLO, so I'm not a PLO expert/coach, but I'm very serious about improving and looking for other people who have the same mindset that would like to study and discuss the game with me and the other guys in my group.

If you're interested, add me on discord @ Azamat (Ken)#7050

Look forward to learning and growing with you guys! Thanks

Hi Ken,

I tried to add you on Discord but I couldn't get it to work.

I'm looking to find some people to bounce PLO strategy ideas around with and exchange session reviews. Until now I've been a lone wolf when it comes to poker and I'm keen to change that. I'm not a pro but I'm a winning player looking to improve.

I got into NLHE around 2006 played super nitty in full ring online cash games on stars (.1/.25, .25/.5 and .5/1). I hit supernova on stars one year, but pretty much all of my profit was rakeback. Netted about $10k before I stopped playing in 2010. After that I made a few small deposits here and there and lost them. 2014 I put in a bunch of live 2/5 NL and made $15k, but really didn't enjoy the live grind so gave it up. Had another crack at live NL in 2018, mostly 1/2 NL, and made 7k. Again the live grind killed my enjoyment so I gave it up again. I started playing NL on apps 2018 with mixed results (very slight winner). Then 2019 started getting into PLO (still on apps) as NL felt too grindy and I couldn't seem to find much of an edge. Since getting into PLO I've played probably 150k hands, stakes ranging .2/.4 to 1/2, and I'm up about 15k. Went on a nice 15k heater earlier this year but then went straight into a brutal downswing of 5k over a couple of weeks which was soul destroying. I withdrew most of my account and took a break for a few months. Left my account with 500 which I've built back up to 2.7k (with poor BR management). I'm currently playing .2/.4 and .3/.6. and sticking with much more sensible BR management.

If you think I'd be a good fit for your group let me know.
